I'm going to be so disappointed if ES6 doesn't have a character named Nate who tells you random facts about Tamriel's history or points you to unmarked locations or something.
I always thought that the secret entrance to the thieves guild was something that everyone knew in riften but they did not talk about it, showing just how corrupt things were in there.
diamondflaw I’m a proud member of the Thieves Guild, though I wish there were a way to kill Maven and make the guild autonomous. Be great for it’s future, and Maven deserves it.
After killing Harkon, you can go back to the Soul Cairn (maybe, it’s kinda bugged if you’re with the Dawnguard) and tell Valerica, who’ll return to Castle Volkihar.
The alternate Bleak Falls makes sense and is probably the original not an altered one. One of the devs did an interview where they talked about how they initially wanted it to open up into the full plain and into the full game but realized that players would have to backtrack to take the claw back.
SAME. Every time I watch these I get the itch to play some more, and sometimes I scratch that itch. Okay that sounded gross. You know what I mean. Sorry.

I still remember when Skyrim first came out and me and my buddy were running though Bleak falls barrow and we had no idea how to get through the podiums or the door for the golden claw now I can do it with my eyes closed hah
I'm gonna correct you there on number 10, the fort was inhabited by the Thalmor before the bandits took over the place, there is a mission you can obtain from the blacksmith's wife of the skyforge on Whiterun that would lead you there to rescue her son, a captured stormcloack soldier. That explains why the fort was pretty setup with more elegance than the bandits will ever do. Thanks mate, been a fan of the channel for a few weeks and I have enjoy every video I've seen.
I don't know if you've done this one or not, but did you know you can fight on a horse. if the dragon born has a one handed weapon equipped he/she can swing down to a near by enemy. That was a small detail that took me years to realize.
I don’t want you to feel stupid, but almost everyone knows that. In fact, in the initial release, it wasn’t possible, and enough people were upset with it to cause Bethesda to create a patch the added it.
Nate, I want you to know that I got so excited when I saw the notification for your video that my body released all the pent up energy I had through my right foot, which was promptly sent slamming into the cupboard door under my kitchen counter. I am in so much pain right now, my big toe is throbbing. But I am so incredibly happy that you are continuing this righteous quest for details. I’ve been watching you since the beginning and I’ll never stop watching you, you’re videos are mesmerizing in the most perfect way and I’m just typing words to distract myself from the agonizing soreness in my toes at this point. I’m afraid to look at my sock out of fear that my big toe is bleeding. I’m going to just binge Skyrim details/mysteries now thank you for reading this

Hey Skyrim, Guy's here and TheEpicNate315 is a pretty big UA-cam channel. With thousands of subscribers and hundreds of facts across various videos, we be lost without our greatest of Daedric overlords......😂😂😂 Nate if ya do see this, I appreciate you man. All the research (not just for Skyrim but all of the TES franchise), the care in how you present said research and the humour you provide have all culminated in really rebuilding my interest in Skyrim again. Thank you and remember: Have Fun and Stay Safe
I slept in Winterhold and awoke to the Jarl, a kid, and a lady just staring at the elven mage(can't recall his name, he makes the Black Star for us, Nelevar?) As he slept. I was like.. uhhh.. okay, and I went and found my own home after that. Just got an Xbox again so I can finally mod!!!
Wonder if anyone is going to research the abundance of "Potion of true shot" next to the latrines in many of the games bandit-infested dungeons. For it seems like some unsavory curs... keep missing the toilet, and someone is fed up with it.
I'm usually more worried when I find health potions, like I don't wanna be all up close and personal with diarrhea bandit. Odd books at the crapper is also great fun.
I just found this out, but during the Forsworn Quest, if you choose to flee Markarth, and come back, the guards there will arrest you with new dialogue, accusing you of Conspiring against Markarth. In addition to the excuses you can already tell, you can say “I didn’t do it! I was framed!” The guard will then berate you, and list off “The Evidence” of what you did, before arresting you!
Stibbons!! We need a random encounter with the ghost of Stibbons, still cooking and cleaning for Lady Laurent.. And as for the bards, I'm still waiting to go to an inn and hear one playing Stairway to Heaven. And I've literally been arrested coming out of that supposed "secret" thieves guild entrance!
Man I'm early no views, 4 likes, 0 dislikes, and I'm the only comment Edit: I doubt anyone will see this, let alone Nate see this, but I love your videos and this series is one of my favorite things to watch on this channel. Keep up the good work nate😁
Maybe there's so many bards because skyrim has a high rate of seasonal depression since its cold and wet a lot of the time. So people take comfort in music being a constant for them to enjoy no matter where they are.
This video would have saved me so many hours of stress over the confusion of the stupid random forge that I HAD NEVER HEARD OF. Sometimes plot spoilers are needed, man. I was crying by the end of that quest, and that was AFTER googling it 17 times.
Skyrim is the number one rpg game in history it’s so open and vast and filled with lore it really feels like such a great game they should do like a remake or something on a better engine and have it look more like eso even have the npcs and fighting like eso too with all the cut scenes and cinematics I’d pay a solid 40 for it
I noticed that when you pull up the skills tree, the background colors are shaped like their respective professions "Mage, Warrior, Thief". I only noticed that last night after 8 years geez. And IMO not having your Dragonborn learn the lute is a missed opportunity.
Glad you're still alive! X3 Miss your vids, so I just watch the old ones. :3 Watching this vid, inspired me to play my Skyrim again, needed that inspiration! XD
Inside Fort Dunstad, at least when it's occupied by bandits, there is a bathroom of sorts. On a stone shelf next to one of the buckets there is a potion of True Shot...maybe one of those bandits has a problem with aiming, if you know what I mean...
How in the world have you gotten this far into the series and not once mentioned that the first two NPCs you meet in the ratway are a reference to Fafhard and the Gray Mouser from the Lankhmar, City of Thieves Tales module of D&D which by the way the town of Riften could be an entire omage?
I think it's likely the other way around for the Bleak Falls Barrow e3 dungeon; it was created _before_ the other version. This is because content in games is not usually in a playable state (or at least something you'd wish to show people) until shortly before a game's release. So they simply cobbled together the e3 version from what they already finished working on to create something that could be played. That explains why the lighting is inferior and some of the rooms are missing. They put it in a separate cell from the actual dungeon so that they could continue working on the real dungeon after finishing the e3 version during the time before the actual demo. In other words, it's a prototype of the final dungeon. They didn't make _the prototype_ different... They first made the prototype and then perfected the _original_ dungeon.
Shor's Bones!! I LITERALLY just found the note in the temple of Mara referring to the guild entrance today for the first time while playing skyrim! 😂 Then out of all Tiny Hidden Details videos I end up watching this one.
I’m sure he’s said this in another video, but if you have a oven in your home you can make garlic bread, and it says it’s special thing is “cures all diseases” 😂
The E3 version was designed to have the character face Whiterun, since there's more chance for giants and mammoths to spawn and awe the audience, but facing towards Riverwood was more of a strategy placement, since you go in one way and come out towards your end goal destination to complete the quest.
i dont know if you have covered this one, but if you open the letter you get from Amaund Motierre and read it before you give it to Astrid, you will get some different dialoge with Astrid after the next quest
Yeah. The sliding tomb is loud as heck. I usually worry that a npc suddenly appears right outside when it opens. And one time, my fear came true. The damn courier was right there, waiting for me to come out. Gave me bit of a scare.
South east of Gjukar's Monument there is a small pond of mudcrabs with a carcass of a massive mudcrab. As far as I can tell its just decorative, but this is the first time coming across it.
