- Two of my close childhood friends just had baby girls and I wanted to make something special for them. I have always adored baby bonnets! They are just so precious, but we don't see them a lot nowadays. My mom gave me an old pattern of hers to use, which I customized with my own embroidery pattern. All the supplies I used were leftover from other projects, making this an excellent stash busting exercise! If you're looking for an heirloom gift to give at your next baby shower, this is it!
