Today we take a look at the Nvidia GT 730, focusing on benchmarks and its practicality in 2023. Spoiler alert: this card is decently powerful for modern day applications, as this card sports 2gb of ddr3 for gaming. I was able to, launch, and successfully play GTA V (grand theft auto 5), counter strike global offensive (csgo), Beamng Drive, Valorant, Far Cry 4, dirt rally, and rust . Realistically, this card would be best suited for an older system, or low-end system, but may still have some usage as a budget graphics card.

@@Jaindike the whole optiplex is gone now 😂, I've got a custom built PC, AORUS b360 motherboard with a 1070ti, 32gb of ddr4 and some I5 in it just untill I can get a hold of something 3rd or 4th gen GPU haha but the optiplex and gt 1030 served me well for the most part now it's rehomed as an emulation station and has older games on it like 2018 and prior whatever it could handle

I’ve had my gt 730 for about 4 years now, and with the right setting in/out of fortnite aka 35% 3d res (fortnite) it runs pretty decent. Besides the fact that every fight results in a casual fps drop down go 20 fps

I just bought it for my $50 build. I got a free pc (compaq presario sr5023wm) that had 8gb of ddr2 ram, no graphics card, and an athlon 64 3800+. I updated the drivers, bought a amd phenom II x4 945 for $20 and a gt 730 graphics card. It avraged 60 fps in source 2 games, 50 fps on roblox, 100 in minecraft, and surprisingly 30 in beamng. When i was working on it, my dad asked me why im keeping junk in my room, i showed him the performance and he said: wow looks like a old crapy desktop on the outside but on the inside its got a impressive amount of power for being $40..

Bruh i had bought the gt 730 4gb ddr3 variant for around $35. This thing is 32 bit and even on a bit of overclocking settings, i dont think i get good fps in gta 5 at high settings... Ive got a i3 10105F processor and 16gb ddr4 ram btw. Should i go for 1030 2gb ddr4 or get any suggestions for better optimal performance?

1030 would be better, but you can easily find 1060s for ~$60. I'd save up and get that instead.
