In my personal experience at auditioning for tv commercials, out of 12 castings you'd only receive one call from those castings you've had and sometimes you'd get nothing. The secret is just be alert whenever theres casting calls and go sees. Never get frustrated and tired of going on auditions. Remember that this was your dream when you were younger. Modeling is not about fame, this should be your favorite phrase from now on.
Yesterday ive done my model audition i passed and i have to go thursday and sighn a modelling contract and honestly the photagrapher was so nice and encouraging it helped alot with my confidence

I used to want to model (and I did qualify, I was 165cm tall in year 7 with thick hair and tanned clear skin), but then I was diagnosed with 'Granuloma Annulure' (which is like purplish lumps under the skin) on my feet. It is not that noticeable or contagious, but it is highly unpredictable with no known cause or cure, so I don't know when and where it could spread. So I can't model anymore 🤷🏼 oh well I just hope it doesn't spread over my body because it upsets me 😅 Plus I can't be bothered to shave my arms and thighs anymore, I just shave my lower legs and underarms lol 😂 Just enjoy life haha x

If you need help with modeling and where to look and all that stuff, it's really simple honestly. Just look up "(city) modeling agency" or something like that and press on the first link and all that stuff. Check to see the requirements and things like that. I recommend going through a lot of the websites just to make sure you aren't missing out on something and then once you feel like you've found the one you want to submit. Do some double checking with Instagram and looking up reviews and see other people's opinions or experiences with the agency. Then it's pretty straight forward from there after you've submitted your profile.
I like this for the most part BUT the thing I disagree with is usually agencies don't like when the girl is glammed up... Natural makeup is great but don't overdo it since they won't be able to tell if you actually look like that and dress decent... what she's wearing is okay ig but they aren't looking at what you're wearing... it's mainly what's on camera and what not

Honestly, the best advice i can give is be yourself, be natural, if possible don't wear make up, (women) have your high hills ready with you. I was a little bit nervous, but i tried to stay cool the whole time. My casting lasted 5 minutes. I didn't get the show. After that experience all my other castings went well, I ended up getting a couple of show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week Istanbul. And since then a couple of magazine photoshoots. It's been 4 months since i started modeling. At first things might not go well, but don't let yourself get discouraged, especially by the mean photographers, stylists, etc. I'm sure you'll do great!

You can't enter high fashion modelling (for Vogue, ELLE editorials, runways, etc.) but you can be a commercial model, a glamour model, and much more depending on your interest and capabilities.
graham eva depends on your type of modeling, if you thing you have a “pretty face” the you could probably do commercial modeling since you just have to more photogenic for it. But remember most of the time they also watch for strong or defined bone structure since it comes out better in photos. Also take into account your age, from the looks of your comment you seem quite young, maybe around 11 or 12? I’d say wait until your 13-14 to start doing commercial modeling since you will receive some criticism looks wise. Let’s say you aren’t doing commercial modeling and want to try out ramp, I’d personally suggest that you wait till you reach 5’8 and above. 5’9 and above would be most preferred but 5’8 would do, and take note you need to have long limbs and the required measurement for your waistline would most likely be 24. The thinner and the longer the limbs the better, since you photograph better due to the camera adding 10 pounds. So I guess that’s the most basic and generalized explanation I can do, wish you luck! ( if ever you plan to model)
