Hi Beatrix! Thank you so much for your tutorials on Tunisian crochet. I am starting to feel a lot more confident from watching, and I even had a splurge on wool today coz I'm going to see if I can make some beanie hats! They may end up wonky, but will be made with love and that's the main thing 🤭 Thanks again, sending love from sunny England xx Natalie 🧶
Hej Natalie! Thank you soo much for your lovely comment. I truly appreciate it. Please tell me if you are going to do TC or convetional crochet beanies? I would love to assist you in tips and trix to elliminate the wonkiness 😉 Love from a not-so-cold-wintery Cape Town, South Africa 😊
@@beatrixsnyman4411 Oh Beatrix, you are so kind! I tried standard crochet but I couldn't get my head around it at all, so thankfully I came across Tunisian knitting/crochet as it seems to make a lot more sense to me. Maybe because I can count the actual stitches, and they're easier to identify now since I watched your 'anatomy' video. I'm practicing on my training wool (as I've started to call it) so it comes a little more naturally when I use the new wool I've ordered, hopefully it's delivered tomorrow. I watched a video which showed a pattern of 49 stiches; 1st 9 using the back V-bar, then standard TSS for the remaining stitches. Thank you for your offer of advice, I may well take you up on that! 😊⚘👍🏽
Thank you so much for the dedicated tutorials. I have learned so much from you about Tunisian crochet. I wonder if you can teach us how to use Tunisian Simple Stitch to crochet a jumper or pullover sweater with round neckline? I cannot find a pattern or a video tutorial so far. Is it possible to use Tunisian to make jumper/pullover?
Hello. Thank you so much for your kind comment. Yes, you can make gorgeous sweaters and I am testng two designrs' sweaters at the moment and both have round necks. It only includes increases and decreases. I have designed a few myself, but never managed to write up the patterns 🫣 I will go look for a few that is available and come share a link or two with you from my favorites, will that help you? And some day I will consider making a video about the basics of designing around neckline in Tss 👍🏻💕
