Some of us just click with Tori, and it’s so powerful when it happens. Outsiders, survivors, people who have had to walk tougher paths in life - her music isn’t just brilliant, it’s got a sacred quality that resonates with the people who need to hear it. It was a privilege to watch someone experience that - thank you for sharing with us!
Navigating the world as a young gay teen in an extremely conservative area, Tori's music saved my life. It gave me strength to accept myself and be different. She was the first person I ever saw in a concert (whilst on tour with Alanis Morisette) and I got her autograph before the show. A magical moment and a gift I'll never forget. Thank you for another brilliant reaction, Fern. Big hug to you 💖
I'm glad to hear I am not the only one that found Tori's music to a safe haven while growing up in the conservative south of the U.S. I have seen her twice and each time is truly magical.
I'm so jealous of everyone who got to go to her concerts in the 90s. I was too young and not allowed to go. When I moved to a big city for college, I finally got to see her on the ADP tour. She was everything and more. People cried at the meet and greet. It was amazing. She's amazing.

I absolutely loved everything about this video. It was like re-discovering Tori and her immense talent, beauty, power, and vulnerability all over again even though I’ve been an avid fan for 20 years. I first discovered her when I was around 15, thanks to my brother (thanks Dave!) and I’d never, ever heard anything like her before. She has impacted my life in so many beautiful ways. There were long periods of very difficult times in my life where I listened to nothing but her. I’ve seen her twice live and she was incredible both times. My family love and respect her, too. 🥰I also want to say this, you are wonderful. I’ve watched a lot of people react to Tori but NEVER have I been transported back so closely to that feeling of hearing her for the first time. This is such a lovely comment , I truly am lost for words. I can see why you’ve been such a great fan of Tori’s music, I have also not heard anything quite like it and it’s 2023 ! The second disc of the deluxe version is definitely worth a listen (you can skip the live versions) because some of her best songs are the b-sides that appear there (Upside Down, Take to the Sky, Here in my Head, Smells Like Teen Spirit, Sugar, Flying Dutchman). I enjoyed your reaction, and I'd definitely like to hear you talking about lyrics more in depth since you have interesting things to say when you start dissecting them! Thanks for reacting to this!
Seconded! Tori's B-sides, especially from this album, are among some of my favorites of her songs, at one point some of them were on the album, but Atlantic cut it down to 12. Don't sleep on the B-sides before going to the next album, they're worth your time.
Tori is certainly a "special gem", and the most memorizing visual performer on the piano. For me, the holy trinity has always been Tori Amos, Fiona Apple and Sinead O'Connor.
Really enjoyed your Tori Amos reaction to her first album, your sensibility and authenticity are admirable! Thanks for sharing!! Really looking forward to watching your journey through her albums and knowing your thoughts about them. I discovered her back in 94, and as many have commented, she helped me (and still does) through the challenging moments, life sometimes puts you through. She is a brilliant artist that can connect with her listeners in ways I've never experienced since. Please, do continue the Tori Amos journey. Bug hug!
BTW my favorite song on this album is "Precious Things", for me, it has always helped me to detach emotionally from breakups and get over the suffering that comes from it while acknowledging it. Absolutely love the strength and mood this song has.
the phrase i got for her is "vocally progressive and expressionist". you will hear vocal coaches reacting to singers and explain things in a technical way, how they are using vibrato here, how they are using head voice there etc. tori can be analyzed that way too but it would be superficial. tori goes beyond the established vocal techniques. easily the first person i have heard using their breath that expressively while all the other singers trying so hard to not make any breathy noise because uuuuh it's not traditional you know? then the same thing also true for her lyrics. then the same thing also true for her piano skills. so she is triple creative, triple expressionist, triple gutsy, angry and quadruple cathartic as a result. oh yeah, that's my second key word for her music "cathartic". i also call her sylvia plath of female singer-songwriters. she also is a great proof of how best art comes from tortured souls. when things normalized for her, starting with venus and back, she mellowed and mellowed more and became idk some kind of indie almost. but hey, i guess it's okay to drop four killer albums and peace out. btw: try diamanda galas' you don't know what love means cover. that's the only person who tops tori (but she is insane and way more wierd).
On the subject of unusual/weird vocalists, are you familiar with Sainkho Namtchylak, a female overtone/throat-singer from Tuva? I only have got her albums "Naked Spirit" and "Who Stole the Sky?", but what she does with her voice on these is IMO quite impressive and unusual. I'd recommend the songs "Amethyst II" (from "Naked Spirit") and the title track of "Who Stole the Sky?". Also, have you heard of Monika Edvardsen? She used to be the vocalist of the Norwegian Progressive/Avantgarde Metal band Atrox until 2004 and did a one-off non-metal project titled Tactile Gemma with her sister Ann-Mari Edvardsen (Ex-The 3rd and the Mortal). If you don't know them, but are open to suggestions, try the songs "Sultry Air" by Atrox and "Blackberry Jam" by Tactile Gemma. Finally, in addition to the music, I'd also call Kate Bush's vocals on her album "The Dreaming" progressive.
@@MissLoonasSpeech gonna check your first suggestion but i have heard atrox and that whole french avant-garde prog metal scene. there are definitely a lot of artists who does experimental things with their vocals in heavy metal and rock. i was comparing tori to other "contemporary singer-songwriters". imo, kate bush is more airy, more... melodramatic and theatral. if kate bush and tori amos were theatre plays, i'd say kate bush is super "overplayed" if that makes sense. i never felt tori's authenticity in kate bush, basically. i actually was asking chatgpt about this and find this artist whose name is anna calvi. just listened one song which apparently peaky blinders soundtrack but sounded pretty interesting to me.
Tori’s music has been a driving force in my life, a soundtrack to my hardest moments. She’s one of my big 3, I’m so happy you’re reacting to her and loving it! I have a tattoo of Under the Pink, her second album! because I just love what it means
I’m really excited for your Tori journey! There are SOOO many gems, especially in the early days. I’m living nostalgically through you! Also, IMHO the first album through Scarlet’s Walk album are the best. After that it’s pretty hit or miss for me.
Thank you so much for posting this & please continue reacting to Tori’s albums. She is a brilliant composer, storyteller, artist, singer, song writer, healer and a pure 💎 You will love her even more as you listen to her albums in order. I also think you should do the B-sides (second cd)
since 1994 Tori has been a spokesperson for RAINN (r**e, abuse & incest national network) and she has been very vocal, even doing interviews in the 90’s allowing women to share their stories of abuse. I admire her so much, the line in Gun when she “speaks with Jesus” and he told her “it’s her choice but you won’t be back in three days like me” is basically saying she was on the verge of suic***, it breaks my heart
This album changed my life when it came out...I cried with u because I completely understood how powerful Me and a gun is....x The whole album is perfection from start to finish.
Your channel is the absolute best. You always react to the albums I love-even if they aren’t the super popular ones all the reaction channels are reacting to, you seem to know which ones are truly worthwhile or underrated to check out. And as another comment said, I LOVE how you appreciate the lyrics and all the aspects of the song. Your reactions are so similar to mine when I first heard this album. Love you Fern
Imagine... Little Earthquakes was almost rejected because the executives wanted her to replace the pianos with electric guitars telling her that "this piano girl thing was not going to work, honey" and now it's a legendary work of art; just take in count that this 2022 a graphic comic album of this masterpiece was released to celebrate it's 30th anniversary... Boys For Pele and From The Choir Girl Hotel are my medicine but I could never choose a favorite record...
"what a fucking queen" -- i've been thinking this since i discovered tori many years ago I'm so glad she's finally catching on, at least in the youtube space-- your reaction was so moving, and did wonderful justice to this album.
Love how listening to a Tori Amos album can nearly turn into a therapy session. Your so real and I felt all your emotions, the same way I do every time I listen to her. I’ve been a fan for 30 years and she doesn’t know me, but I feel like she just gets me. Love the video ❤
I’m actually surprised you hadn’t already heard a lot of Tori. She just seems like such a kindred spirit for you. She, as so many before me have said, saved my life as a young gay boy in a very small town. I am so looking forward to watching more Tori reactions from you. Her first four albums are unparalleled (plus her later album Scarlet’s Walk, in my opinion).
After seeing you post this I went and listened to the album by myself first (which i hadn't heard before) and yeah I cried a few times. Haven't watched your reaction yet but I'm so keen!
Girl... I just wanted to give you a hug, a big big hug, in the form of a comment. I shed tears along with you as you opened such a painful part of your experience, that resonated with Tori's. I just... need to send a LOT of love your way, even if it's just through an youtube comment. 💜💜💜
Wow, loved your reactions and it made me think of when I first heard this album in the nineties ❤ sooooo much emotions and all the melodies and lyrics, you can just live in them. ❤️ And sure. Me and a gun 😓 such a horrifying but also empowering story behind that. Can't wait for your next reaction! 👌 Under the pink is a bit more abstract maybe, but very very powerful as well.
Thank you for reacting, Tori Amos is my all time favorite artist!!! I think you would love her cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit too. It's in the deluxe version of this album. I loved the way you think, your understanding of the lyrics is just too similar to mine. You should also react Scarlet's Walk too. It is an amazing album.
Love love love Tori Amos, Her discography is so huge, I've only listened to Under the Pink and American Doll Posse so im discovering her albums with you.
I was high and tired yesterday during live chat. I meant Demon Tori is best seen performing Precious Things in 1996. She claws up her thighs and growls at high volume. It's wild.
Thank you so so much for sharing your reaction! When she clicks with people its just pure magic. When I discovered her - Under the Pink was my first album - I just couldnt believe what I was hearing. I have never experienced sth like this ever again. Anyway, I love how you pay attention to so many little details, musically, lyrically. Beautiful. Hope you continue sharing your Tori journey with us. Maybe it makes sense to go chronologically for the first few… 💙
I ADORE you! One of the best Tori reactions that I’ve seen. Your commentary and appreciation really made this so fantastic to watch!! I’ve always had a special place in my ❤️ for tear in your hand, precious things, winter and china. But, the whole album is a masterpiece and a master class - not a song to skip! Coincidentally, I told my self I was going to watch this in segments, but I couldn’t stop watching. Continue the Tori journey! Do the albums in order, it’s the best way to hear the progression of her artistry.
This album is one of my all time favorites. I am so looking forward to hearing you dive into more of her work as you explore her catalog. Tori is a GODDESS! I will say once you react to Boys for Pele, the version I suggested for "Hey Jupiter" is a remixed version different from the take she does on the album.
Ooooh that is cool ! Will look forward to hearing the album version 💕💕 can’t wait to hear more too. Thanks so much for requesting her and helping me actually get round to starting her discography hahaha 🤣
YESSS I started my Tori discography journey this January and fell in love immediately! Can’t wait for you to experience more Tori (especially excited for you to get to the fourth album, From The Choirgirl Hotel, my personal favorite so far)
Alanis morissetts always quote about how this album inspired her to write Jagged Little Pill. i remember reading somewhere that she once said she lying on the floor crying after listening to little earthquake.
Your reaction to Me & A Gun is all of us. It breaks me every single time, even 20 years later. Check out her live performance of this song if you get a chance.
I could speak a lot of about Amos's songwriting - but one thing that doesn't get talked about enough about it: it's probably the best SOUNDING album of the entire 90's. The production and recording on that record is just incredible. There are very few records that SOUND that fantastic. It has a clarity and dynamic that very, very, very few albums have. So a lot of credit has to go to the producers for making that record sound as amazing as it does. The recording techniques used for it just aren't done anymore, so albums today just don't SOUND this good. The sound of every track just CUTS into you in a way that modern recording techniques just can't achieve anymore. And I can't think of another record in the 90's that was so perfectly recorded and balanced.
To me, Tori Amos is one of those artists whose live performances are superior to their studio albums, most likely because of her exceptional improvisatory talent. Even though I usually prefer songs played by a full band, my favourite live performances are from 1996/1997, when she was only accompanied by her guitarist. In this context, I recommend her "Live from New York"-performance from 1997. It was a charity concert to start the "Unlock The Silence"-campaign, aimed at drawing people's attention to RAINN (the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network). She is also a master at mixing her own songs with excerpts of songs by other artists and making them sound like original songs. In this context and since you also like Kate Bush, I'd like to mention a live performance, in which Tori mixed excerpts of Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells" and Kate Bush's "Running Up that Hill" with her own song "God". There's also a live version of "Father Lucifer" including excerpts of "Tubular Bells" and Bronski Beat's "Smalltown Boy". BTW, in one of her probably least known cover songs, "If 6 Was 9" by Jimi Hendrix, she played her piano via a Marshall-amp, which makes it sound like a distorted guitar.

Hello Fern, firstly I have to thank you for this wonderful reaction video, I enjoyed it immensely. It is strange, I have been a Tori Fan since this album was first released and have heard it many times but watching someone else react to it made me listen to it in a different way and the songs hit me hard again, something I did not expect, so no dry eyes here. I have listened to reactions to individual songs from the album but not in its entirety, maybe that was it, or maybe seeing someone immerse themselves into the music and be swept away and mind blown and emotionally bereft at one part was something special indeed and thank you so much for your authenticity and vulnerability. This is the first video I have seen of yours and it will not be the last, take care and be safe
I listened ro this album before I knew english, then listened again, and again and I still love it. And seeing your first reaction brings me so much joy. It's pure, it's true, and you get it. Much love❤
💜💚💛Tori's first four albums really defined my high school and college years. Love this! So glad you're able to experience Tori in the magical, healing, connective way that she creates music. Much love to you and all out there touched by this.
An artist who reminds me of tori Amos is Tobey Torres. Albeit with different production styles, the soulfulness and angst is shared. You should definitely listen to the album Hollow The Numbers by Mojave Phone Booth (her band), I think you would really enjoy it!!!
Love your reactions! Please do a reaction to “Under the Pink” next. It was an amazing follow-up to “Little Earthquakes”! I feel like you either jive with Tori or you don’t, and I’m sooo glad you feel her music the same way her fans do.
Thanks so much for sharing your reaction to this incredible album. It took me back to the first time I heard it as well, and how I was hit with so much emotion and connected to it in a way I had never connected to another album, and beginning my lifelong journey with Tori's music. Looking SO forward to seeing your reaction to her next album Under the Pink. It's in my top 3 Tori albums of all time. Cheers!
I know I'm late to this, but I'm here. Sitting here shouting at my kids to be quiet as I consume every morsel. Reaction vids work because I get to experience it for the first time again with you. And it heals today like it healed back then. Thank you.
I was looking away while listening to “Girl” & your vocals while singing “everybody else’s girl” blended so smoothly that I thought it was her backing vocals & you had somehow acquired a special edition track. Gorgeous interpretation/vocal embellishment on your sing-along!
Also, thank you for mentioning the Shadow Self. It occurred to me recently that this song might be about healing her child self & confronting her shadow.
I just love your reaction I'm a empathetic person I I am a hypersensitive person have been diagnosed with hypersensitivity and that's why I think I love Tori because I think she is as well as you. I have had bad things happen to myself as well and this does choke me up I did watch a few reactions of men watching it and they get so uncomfortable that they don't really connect or wanna listen and I don't hate men but I feel that when they're confronted with the things that men do They get so awkward because it's become so normal for people to victim shame. I think your reaction to her is just wonderful and her fans I've been to the hair concerts there really great people they seem to be open to others and kind
I need you to watch her live performance of the song Waitress. (It has the word sessions in it, but I can't remember what it's titled exactly off the top of my head.) It's so powerful. So entrancing. She calls her songs her "girls" and when she's performing them, she almost gets... possessed by them. It's incredible, and I've never seen another artist become her work so completely.
I was lucky enough to find Tori in my teenage years. She got me through SO MUCH. I'm so happy to see someone else discovering her. She's truly a queen.
Thank you for sharing your own vulnerability during 'M.A.A.G'. It's beautiful as it is painful to put that out there. Continue to survive & thrive, sister. 💖
Forgive my ignorance. I truly enjoyed this reaction with ever fiber of my being. I love how much she touched you with her music. I’ve been a fan since she debuted on MTV in 1991 with Crucify on 120 minutes. Were you reading the song meaning descriptions from the Graphic Album 30th anniversary ? I’ve only just seen that it existed tonight. Being a professional musician myself, has put me a bit out of touch with the latest/later music releases. I’ll be sure to come around again and visit, thanks Fern.
Thanks so very much ! I was reading the meanings from Genius. If you’re not sure what that is, it is a popular lyric website and sometimes either normal people will write about the songs or if we are lucky you get quotes from the artist themselves. Moments where they have said stuff about their songs in interviews and so on 🙂
@@FernStone You’re so very welcome. I’m familiar with Genius. I guess I didn’t know they had artist interpretations in there. I’ll have to check it out. But now I have to get the 30th Anniversary Little Earthquakes Graphic Album, too.
Love your reactions! May I suggest Julia Jacklin if you haven’t heard of her? Her voice is stunning and lyrics beautifully devastating. Crushing is a great album but she has three - all amazing!
you should check out her live performance of Me & A Gun from the 2007 Chicago show at The Vic. I saw her do it acapella in 2001, but being right at the stage for that 2007 show with the props she used during the performance was beyond anything I've ever witnessed at a show.
Would absolutely love to see stint of tori reactions. My fav albums from her are Boys for Pele and From The Choirgirl Hotel. Thank you Fern!!!!
Also.... Joanna Newsom reaction coming soon 👀👀👀
the phrase i got for her is "vocally progressive and expressionist".
you will hear vocal coaches reacting to singers and explain things in a technical way, how they are using vibrato here, how they are using head voice there etc. tori can be analyzed that way too but it would be superficial. tori goes beyond the established vocal techniques. easily the first person i have heard using their breath that expressively while all the other singers trying so hard to not make any breathy noise because uuuuh it's not traditional you know?
then the same thing also true for her lyrics. then the same thing also true for her piano skills. so she is triple creative, triple expressionist, triple gutsy, angry and quadruple cathartic as a result. oh yeah, that's my second key word for her music "cathartic".
i also call her sylvia plath of female singer-songwriters.
she also is a great proof of how best art comes from tortured souls.
when things normalized for her, starting with venus and back, she mellowed and mellowed more and became idk some kind of indie almost. but hey, i guess it's okay to drop four killer albums and peace out.
btw: try diamanda galas' you don't know what love means cover. that's the only person who tops tori (but she is insane and way more wierd).
She is a brilliant composer, storyteller, artist, singer, song writer, healer and a pure 💎
You will love her even more as you listen to her albums in order. I also think you should do the B-sides (second cd)
OMG!! Tori Amos is a diva!! Pretty, amazing, wonderful!!! Thanks for reaction.
since 1994 Tori has been a spokesperson for RAINN (r**e, abuse & incest national network) and she has been very vocal, even doing interviews in the 90’s allowing women to share their stories of abuse. I admire her so much, the line in Gun when she “speaks with Jesus” and he told her “it’s her choice but you won’t be back in three days like me” is basically saying she was on the verge of suic***, it breaks my heart
Girl unlocked something in me
I only heard it like a couple months ago for the first time. I love it.
This album changed my life when it came out...I cried with u because I completely understood how powerful Me and a gun is....x The whole album is perfection from start to finish.
Excellent interpretation and reaction of one of my most favorite magical musical artists. I can't wait until you do her 3rd album Boys for Pele.
This is the 3rd time i've watched this reaction. great stuff. i especially appreciate your me and a gun reaction. thank you for everything.
There's never enough Tori Amos, but thankfully, she does have a lot of albums. I'm glad you started listening to her discography.
I have the graphic novel ❤ it's beautiful
"what a fucking queen" -- i've been thinking this since i discovered tori many years ago
I'm so glad she's finally catching on, at least in the youtube space-- your reaction was so moving, and did wonderful justice to this album.
Love how listening to a Tori Amos album can nearly turn into a therapy session. Your so real and I felt all your emotions, the same way I do every time I listen to her. I’ve been a fan for 30 years and she doesn’t know me, but I feel like she just gets me. Love the video ❤
Yes!!!! I needed this today
I had heard of her for years from friends of my mum , but never took the time to actually listen ! so glad I have now , definitely up my street !!
Great reaction video - you REALLY get Tori ❤️ You have a new subscriber 👍
watched this again today. hope you are well fern!
Beautiful! Thank you 🌺
Wow, loved your reactions and it made me think of when I first heard this album in the nineties ❤ sooooo much emotions and all the melodies and lyrics, you can just live in them. ❤️ And sure. Me and a gun 😓 such a horrifying but also empowering story behind that.
Can't wait for your next reaction! 👌 Under the pink is a bit more abstract maybe, but very very powerful as well.
Thanks for the Tori!
It
is an amazing album.
Now, there's no going back. Listening to this album can be a transformative experience. Welcome to the fold.😊❤
This is a great debut, but Under The Pink is her masterpiece IMO. I think you will love it as well.
Sigo a Tori desde los 90´s.. ha sido una musa! Tu reacción a su álbum es tan acertada, tan sincera.. me encanto!! Hugs and blessings from Argentina
Love love love Tori Amos, Her discography is so huge, I've only listened to Under the Pink and American Doll Posse so im discovering her albums with you.
Amazing reaction. You did it right you make a lot of EWT proud.
Sending lot of love.
I got this album as a Christmas gift, and what a gift it was! I love her so very, very much.
Aww this is so lovely to read ! Thank you ! The Amos journey has only just begun and I’m so excited to hear more 😃
She was utterly creative, accomplished and expressive at the time. It's a young person's expression, but it is unbelievably brilliant.
@@FernStone Anytime! There’s even a radio remix of “Crucify” with more guitar if you’re ever interested in checking it out. I’m kinda a Tori nerd. lol
YESSS I started my Tori discography journey this January and fell in love immediately! Can’t wait for you to experience more Tori (especially excited for you to get to the fourth album, From The Choirgirl Hotel, my personal favorite so far)
Such a beautiful and vulnerable response to a brilliant album. ❤️
Oh thank you dearly !! Appreciate your support too 🥰🥰 truly a wonderful album.
Tori is a real artist. Not everybody understands real art - they can’t all open up to the rawness, but those of us who can… omg.
To me simply one of the greatest debut album from an artist ever.
Alanis morissetts always quote about how this album inspired her to write Jagged Little Pill. i remember reading somewhere that she once said she lying on the floor crying after listening to little earthquake.
This video changed my life. Auto-subscribed. You’re an amazing soul💫
Omg thank you for taking the time to dive into this woman i just saw my 63 show at the greek in la..needless to say she is my absolute guide through my life ..i cannot tell you how completely humbled and grateful and sometimes jumping up and down with joy i am to have had this woman as a DAILY voice for HALF of my life and how ive been there at this point her ENTIRE career so far..first show was in 93 or 94 my latest show 2023..jesus thats crazy to think about hope to see you at the next one ill keep an eye out for you..enjoy the journey its a true walk through the garden of the divine blessed be❤❤
Best first album by anyone - ever. Words are not enough.
This person needs to react to every album Tori has released.
You really need to hear here version of Little Drummer Boy and Angie.
Love your reactions! Please do a reaction to “Under the Pink” next. It was an amazing follow-up to “Little Earthquakes”! I feel like you either jive with Tori or you don’t, and I’m sooo glad you feel her music the same way her fans do.
So fun to watch you get into it for the first time. I got chills right before you said you got chills!! 😊😊
Saw her in concert several times during those years. We were such big fans we named our daughter after her.
Seeing you discover Tori was an absolute honour. She changes lives. She might have saved mine.
Thank you. This is so brave and important. ❤️ You are wonderful.
Her voice is angelic
I can't believe torii reactions, I needed it!!!
Your reaction to Me and a Gun makes me want to give you the biggest hug.
Silent All These Years crushes me every time.
Such a beautiful song.
Im a 90s 18yr and on andI found tori in 92. You gotta watch her sing too, so whimsical and sexy..
I was lucky enough to find Tori in my teenage years. She got me through SO MUCH. I'm so happy to see someone else discovering her. She's truly a queen.
You should def react to either the Dresden Dolls’ self-titled album or Yes, Virginia if you haven’t already heard them!
amazing reaction as always = very insightful, professional but fun and intelligent- bravo
and yes...Tori IS a gem too
Thank you for sharing your own vulnerability during 'M.A.A.G'. It's beautiful as it is painful to put that out there. Continue to survive & thrive, sister. 💖
Watch Tori Live. It'll change your life
Forgive my ignorance.
Moments where they have said stuff about their songs in interviews and so on 🙂
@@FernStone
You’re so very welcome.
I’m familiar with Genius.
I guess I didn’t know they had artist interpretations in there.
I’ll have to check it out.
But now I have to get the 30th Anniversary Little Earthquakes Graphic Album, too.
Glad to see people discovering early Tori Amos. IMO, she tapered off, but her first two albums are pure brilliance.
Boys For Pele, in my opinion is her best work to date.
Your reaction to leather was my reaction as well. Brilliant isn’t it !?!! One of my favorites
absolutely fantastic song !!!!!
Love your reactions! May I suggest Julia Jacklin if you haven’t heard of her? Her voice is stunning and lyrics beautifully devastating. Crushing is a great album but she has three - all amazing!
Fern, when are you going to react to her second album, Under the Pink?
Tell me you've heard Scarlet's Walk!!!
you should check out her live performance of Me & A Gun from the 2007 Chicago show at The Vic. I saw her do it acapella in 2001, but being right at the stage for that 2007 show with the props she used during the performance was beyond anything I've ever witnessed at a show. Tori is hands down the absolute strongest, most powerful artist I have ever had the opportunity to experience in a live setting.
love her
