Limit breaks (not summons) charge WAY slower (60% limit gauge boost reduction), and non-weakness damage is reduced by 30%. So, make sure everyone has wind damage, and plan for only 1 LB use per character. Tifa only gets to use her LB 2x during the fight because its charge time is so low at baseline. Also, I failed to explain in the video that Primal Behemoth's PATK cannot be debuffed! That make it even more important to boost our team's PDEF to survive. None of the $3 I've spent on the game (gave me a 5* Enhance Sword for Cloud and 20 Sephiroth memories) are benefiting this team. The video is a F2P guide. I hope you find the guide helpful!
@@jace743 Of course! I'm just lazy trying different build, so I looked up yours but I didn't look how you did the fight, just the build. So like that, I still have some challenge :P
Yeah, there was a person on Reddit who was complaining that they were using a built similar to mine, but couldn’t clear it. They didn’t pay attention to the amount of coordination and timing that went into making my build succeed on this fight. I’m sure someone could clear with even less power, but this one is very close.
Is there any way to clear this with only Lv. 2 Megaflare or some other Summon or Limit? If not, is there a guide to clear Bahamut EX 1 & 2 on F2P without any FFIX crossover gear?
Bahamut EX1 and EX2 can be cleared without FF9 crossover gear. Even the gear I have in Sephiroth can be replaced with his Limit Break outfit, which is out right now. For EX2, I didn’t use Kuja’s Spirit Blade. If you’re struggling with EX1, check out my EX2 guide to see how I approached it differently without that weapon. If you have extra damage on the other two characters, you don’t need LV5 Bahamut or LV4 Bahamut. However, Bahamut hits the hardest, and you will likely only get one summon use during the fight. Maybe LV2 can still work, especially since I’m using him on my healer - you can deal more damage if he’s on someone else! Also, my Barret in this video doesn’t have his PATK nodes completed in his stat stream, because I haven’t decided whether I want him to be physical or magic yet. So, it’s possible for you to put out more damage with him than I did.
@@jace743 I finally managed to beat it without it, partially thanks to your help. My party was similar to yours, except: Barret had the Electroarmor gear and his Heavy Hauser and Assault Gun are both 6-star. Yuffie replaced Tifa. She had the Sparkling Skater gear, a Lv. 110 Magic Shuriken & Diner Tray, and the Bloodfest limit. She also had 145 PDEF and 7647 HP. Aerith had a Lv. 120 15-star Raging Sphere as her main weapon, the Sunny Robe gear, and the Breath of the Earth limit. She had 9172 HP and 141 PDEF. I failed on the first attempt I made with this party, but succeeded in the second because chaining all three limits together allowed me to deal an amount of damage comparable to a Lv. 5 Megaflare. Thank you for helping me figure out how to put this party together!
Hi Jace! I'm not sure if you'd pulled for Aerith's new weapon with / without outfit. Wanted to see if the wind debuff will increase the overall wind damage. If not then its okay, btw nice vid 🎉
Thank you! For now, I’ve decided to skip the Aerith banner. However, hew new weapon will definitely increase damage during this fight, especially physical damage, but still all wind damage overall. That being said, I wouldnt recommend pulling on the banner solely for the purpose of clearing floor B70, since its permanent content. However, if you want to pull on the banner because you like the weapon and outfit, you just like Aerith, or you want to pull for other reasons besides B70, then go for it! I just think I can get by without it and would prefer to pull for Matt/Tifa/Zack.
If you’re dealing enough damage fast enough, he seems to skip it. However, I’m not positive that that’s the cause. I don’t know how to do it reliably, and I’ve only seen it, never done it myself.
Thanks it helped a lot, I had to try many times but got it at the end xD. I used Megaflare too but it's only at lv4 (deals 5,313% mag. damage, charge speed 4,074) maybe I should try Bahamut EX2 to get it to lv5. I'll go check your guide later, thanks : )
@@eddypeacock4005 how are you handling PDEF with this team? Is the issue that he kills you at a random point? Or, can’t handle the sigil phase in time? Or, you reach his enrage attack due to low DPS?
@@eddypeacock4005 while lvl 80 helps, this is a fight that requires access to a lot of PDEF up. Aerith alone can’t handle that, unless you have enough DPS to absolutely blow him up before he can heal. I recommend bringing either Matt with Syringe Rapier or Barret with Assault Gun. My guess is you will want to replace Cloud - I can’t imagine what he’s bringing for this fight other than circle sigil break on Maritime Sword, which isn’t the best weapon for this fight.
after a while I felt like crying from the emotion it made me feel, it really seemed like a dance done while playing, just a choreography, and imagine that I clicked subscribe in the victory theme song, as if I had won too ahaha🥲
Haha I appreciate the sub! Honestly, the fight felt like choreography. I like those kinds of fights, where I get to design my team, design a strategy, practice, and execute to produce something that looks like this. If I can just flop into the fight with a team I threw together and I clear something first try, that isn’t fun for me.
