The Wellen gets my vote, too. It certainly suited you. We’re both similar height and build, so it’s useful for me to know what size you choose. Medium it is. 😁👍
Thanks for this review. Well done. I'm going to try the Wellen also. I really like the variety of pockets and the herringbone pattern. A light coat like this is incredibly versatile both inside, outside and even in the workshop. I also have one of the work jackets from Bleu de Chauffe that is my go to jacket for wearing inside at my desk job. It is definitely a traditional French chore coat style.
I have the LC king chore coat. It is good I love the brown color I got it in it been showing a bit wear. I say their customer service last time I check is alright by email is a snail pace to reply but calling is most likely to get their attention. Shipping was slow too. I also tried wearing rail car goods but with my build it was too tight in the chest but sleeves are ok. I also tried but didn’t buy the Natchez chore coat from Billy Reid. BR is slim fit so size up by 1 at least. Cool thing about that is the buttons are genuine horn but removable so the body can be machine wash.
Think, brother. Follow your instincts, for they serve you well. You've very nearly discovered that all reviews are inherently marketing. When you understand that, you understand how silly it is that you're fussing about such things.
What’s your favorite chore coat?
I'm interested in the ones that are not $198 to $298! PS, Jackets go to just below the waist and coats go to the buttocks.
@@czynski3 That's correct. Didn't mean to use the two terms interchangeably here. The Gap has a nice looking one on sale for $45. 👍
Good chore coat.
Le Laboureur
I have the Ojai and the chore coat from American Giant. Love both of them!
Had the Ojai on yesterday. Great coat!

Thanks Darren! I'm glad I could try it on for you. 😄

Definitely. The Bleu de Chauffeur is super classy.
In the mid 90s the Barnyard Jacket style was all the hype as street fashion and the beginnings of corporate casual wear.
Nice! I'm pretty sure George wore one on Seinfeld for a while.
I don’t think the room is dark enough. I can still see a tiny bit of detail on the coat

I’ve never seen removable buttons. Sounds like a cool feature!
I have three LC King chore coats in blue one has fisher stripe pocket flaps and fisher stripe cuffs , it’s a good fit for my body shape.
Taylor Stitch is my choice
Excellent choice!
I have the Taylor Stitch moleskin chore coat and it’s my go too for casual I have LC King for work
If you put it at x1.5 he talks at a less infuriating speed.
Really over the Huckberry commercials. This isn't a review. Should be Stray Commercials.
I get it. Unfortunately, I'm finding that it's no easier to get new partners at 4000 subscribers than it was at 400. Maybe 14,000?
