Great shave John. If yuh all wouldn't mind throwing some prayers up for Gary over at Gary shaves, he ain't having a good day. I wont go into what he's thinking, he lays it all out on todays video but I think he could use some prayers. My shave today was Van Der Hagen soap, badger brush, and one of my vintage ever ready's. I forgot how darn good a shave that razor provides and I'm really favoring the Van Der Hagen soap lately. Aftershave was some cheap blue stuff from family dollar/dollar tree, it was a darn good mid week shave. God bless John.
Gorgeous brush. Never too early for a Santa hat 😊. I actually used your method to remove water from a badger brush for my morning shave today. I believe it to be better than the method I was using. I will continue to use it. I used Noble Otter’s ‘Tis the Season, with a 28 mm silver tip badger, the Blackland Osprey, and a Personna Lab Blue blade. A very pleasant shave. Have a great rest of the week.
Great shave my friend, I'm glad the drip drip method is working for you 😊😁👍🏻😎😎, I love the osprey but man it's way off my budget, some day tho 🙏, have a terrific week my friend 😊😎👍🏻👌
Had an amazing shave last night with Bricktown Grooming batch 214 with Razor Emporium Barbershop splash and a vintage Gem single edge from the 70s. It was absolutely brilliant. The only thing better is watching your shaves. Hope you are doing well brother. Cant wait for the next one!
Another nice mid-week shave, John. Giving to those in need is usually the kind thing to do. And you are right. Money isn't the only gift that they appreciate. My SOTD was a quick one. Barbasol out of the can and a quick two-pass shave with my 6S. Post-shave was the usual alum, witch hazel followed by Nivea sensitive and a big splash of Skin Bracer. Take care and I'll catch you on the Saturday shave. Cheers!
Very nice shave Bart, I really do believe with my whole heart and soul, it's a requirement of those that have to help those that haven't, have a wonderfull week bart 👍🏻 😎
Morning John really good shave for you not tried any of these products unfortunately.my own SOTD will be R41 Gillette Nacet blade 1st use solar flare brush.Noble otter Tis the season soap and splash then Clarins moisture balm.take care of yourself and enjoy the rest of your week all the best 🙂🙌👍🏻
My sotd was a design 94 aluminium razor with a Bic blade, Palmolive shaving cream, a 20mm Fine synthetic brush, followed by Thayers non-scented witch hazel and Nivea shave balm.
Nice shave John. And i understand about shaving on a day off. My wknd is monday and tuesdays. Which will be nicer shaves. Better soaps, taking my time. On work days, its proraso or tobac usually, with aqua velva or skin bracer after shave. Todays sotd as it was my day off. Was my pearl k2, with A&E peach and cognac soap and matching after shave. Very nice scent. Have a great week mate. Gonna kick back with a nice cigar and a wee glass of blackberry brandy. 👍🍷
Hi Andrew, I'm glad it's not just me that does it with the shave 😁😁😊, your shave sounds great, to and brandy & cigar what a combo, I had a coffee and a cigar after mine, perdomo lot 23 😎😎☕, have a great week Andrew 👍🏻 👍🏻
Hi John, nice brush! For me, tomorrow is a green proraso shave followed by the Stirling Spearmint splash. That is one of those menthol glacial splashes, so first 15 minutes your face is on fire 🔥 and then the rest of the day you smell like chewing gum 😂. Have a nice rest of the week and till Saturday 👍🏻
Nice shave John! Looked like some good lather from that cream 😎👍 I've never tried Figaro before. My last shave was another fast one: Gillette Labs Quick Rinse Shave Foam, the RazoRock Game Changer 84 with a Gillette Super Thin blade, RazoRock Mudder Focker splash, and Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm. Have a good one! Steve
@@drunkn711 thankyou Steve, that tube did good Sam said it was £1 so we'll worth the money, I have that razor but for some unknown reason it slices me up every time, I might get a new head for it, have a great week Steve 👍🏻 👍🏻
Shave of the day? Barrister and Mann Leviathan soap and balm. Merkur 44C. Yaqi Moka Express 26mm two-band. Gillette Nacet blade. Boots teatree witch hazle.
Nice midweek tidy up shave John👍 The pointy hat did give you a gnome like appearance😜 Some of those low priced European creams work really well. I wonder if the white Badger Hairs came from an Albino Badger? Take care brother👌🤠👌

That razor speaks to me. I have had a tube of Figaro for at least 12 years. It still works like a charm.
Hi Patrick, the razor feels so nice in the hand and that cream was a delight, have a great week 👍🏻😁
Talking of days off, tomorrow is Father's day here, and a public holiday. I am looking forward to a lie-in and a nice, slow, relaxing shave.

How did the razor cope with your (I believe you once said) coarse beard growth?
Hi Pete, yeah my beard is like iron filings but the razor had no problem 👍🏻👍🏻😎
A good slug? You got a decent python!🤣🤣🤣
Lol 😂 😂
I would say you look more like a Christmas Colonel Sanders than a gnome😂
Oh Lee, have you seen the KFC stuffing stacker? ❤️❤️😍😍, one will be mine soon!!
