Shave of the day from today, before running around until just a few minutes ago: Zingari Man The Brewer soap and splash. King C Gillette head on the Alpha Shaving titanium handle. German Schick blade (don't like them). Trotter Handcrafts Sea Glass Cannon brush. Nivea Men moisturiser.

Slurp of yesterday was rather late, as I only get back from a funeral at nearly ten last night, but it was two glasses of Benmore blended Scotch.

I don't have any Simpson products but then again my collection is ridiculously small. One razor, two brushes, one shaving bowl, and two soaps. That way I don't go broke buying shave gear. I do have 12 years worth of Russian made blades just because they are no longer made in Russia.

I can't agree more John, the Simpson Trafalgar brushes are excellent value for money. The shaving cream isn't that bad either, I haven't tried the lime. I don't shave much these days with DE razors, I prefer straight razors, but I'll give you a viewing. All the best for the future and I hope you are healthy. Good morning John. Loved the shave. Ive got the simpson t3 and love it. Its a great brush. My own sotd was my rockwell 6c with a kai blade. WSP's black amber vanilla soap. And finished up with gillette cool wave after shave. Have a great wknd John 👍

Hi John, great shave again. I can certainly testify to the quality of the Simpson’s brushes. I have the T2 but also the Chubby 2 with the sovereign synthetic knot. Both are my absolute favourite brushes. Have yet to give the shaving soaps a try. Have a great weekend!
