Nobody wanted to play that stuff up here, till I got the local radio to play some Mahavishnu, and some other fusion, late night.......wow! Really caused a ruckus and changed the face of radio in Cairns. 25 years later, as a drumschool principal and promoter, I got the chance to bring Billy to Cairns, with Randy Brecker, Mike Chindamo, Carl Orr...man it was truly like all my Christmases came at once.
This is not a song, this is master piece and purpouse of life of four people on the stage doing what they do the best. I can't get enough of this song.
Yesterday was January 12, 2020 what would have been professor George duke 74 birthday, I can only imagine, what he would be doing in 2020, thanks for the memories , I miss him a lot. Your number 1, fan, still jamming your music in Memphis, tn.

Man... from a bass players view of this killer tune... it is not how many notes you can throw all over the song but very simple.. where you put your notes. So simple but a total groove. Try playing it and "keep up". Awesome. Love Mr. Cobham et al.

I do really really like his playing, phrasing and sound, George Duke and Billy Cobham i knew for the oasr 35 years... They won't be comin back unfortunately. This tune has got me hooked ever since i've heard it first.
