  • So I test rode a new 2016 Harley Davidson Street Bob. I give my thoughts on the Street Bob, this is not a technical review however it comes from my perspective of how the bike rode, it's power and manoeuvrability.
    I have a slight blooper moment whilst riding however no one was hurt or injured - especially the bike.
    Hope you enjoy the review and please fee free to leave comments or questions. I always recommend to test ride a bike before any purchase is made and please always bare in mind a review is from the riders perspective and therefore your experience may differ.
    Please LIKE and subscribe. Safe riding guys!

    Cheers mate. Been watching your channel since I bought my 2016 48 back in March 2016. I'm from New England...the Berkshires in western Massachusetts. I just traded up to a new street Bob factory custom and let me just say that this is the bike I should have bought in the first place!! Wow love it!! Luv your vids great job. Be safe brother.

    I rode a street bob (first time I have ridden a Harley) loved it the only thing I didn,t like was the bars! If I had one I would put something like the fat boy bars on,or maybe flat tracker bars!

    im 5 foot 10 and 58 yers old had a test ride on the street bob today from the uppingham dealership i have been a sportsbike rider all my life so first go on a harley today!
    all i can say its very different i found the bars way too high for me ,nice riding position footpegs could be a couple of inches further forward , that engine and exhaust noise were georgous most torque i have ever experienced WOW . but the downside is the sidestand is scarey it doesnt kick out far enough i kept thinking it would fall off. but for a first ride 9/10 . 10 /10 if the bars and sidestand were sorted

      tiny789 the kickstands on Harley's once leaned over actually lock into place so they cannot move or slide back. If you look under the bike you can see how it works.

    I love my 2011 Street Bob. Had her for 5 years and 30, 000 miles but it's not very comfortable especially on the bumps so I am looking for more of a touring bike. Wish I could keep her too. Can't go wrong with this bike, it's awesome. I wish you would have mentioned the comfort level, unless I missed that but curious if it's just mine or all of them.

      Did you get a bagger? You can always just mod the streetbob to make it a more long distance and comfy bike. Thats why i like this bike because its well balanced for short and long distance

    I have the chance to buy a 2015 Dyna Street Bob for a little less than a 2019 1200 iron Sportster . Which bike should I go for ?

      Hi ! Yeah I thought the same as well, when I first bought my Harley I couldn't find any uk Harley vloggers. I'm 5,9 for me the street Bob is easy to get on feels very similar to the sportster in terms of ride height. Nice motor

    loving the videos mate. I need a bit of advice if you could help me. I'm 27 and have a car license but i have been debating whether to get a motorcycle license or not for a few years now. I can have direct access to big bikes and i was wondering whether or not a harley davidson would be out of my league experience wise or are they pretty easy to get used to. I am not interested in going fast i just want a beefy sounding harley to cruise around on i really like the street bob. Any help would be appreciated.

      Mate to be fair you can start on anything.. The only scenario that makes a bike a hazard or a challenge is the riders attitude. Personally I love most bikes, my advice would be to sit on one and check you like the positioning. Personally for example I love the track bars ( flat ). The street Bob is a great option to try there is even a special edition which comes with track bars and forward controls. Go for it buddy!

      enthralling, I bought my first st. bike bake in 1970 it was a used first yr.. cb 750 inverted 4 cylinder Honda.Top speed back in those days, it was very quick and over 110 two up. I had done flat track, jumps etc. all on off rd. dirt bikes until then. When I went to check it out with my dad and best friend (I really wanted a 650 bonniville, but the sound of the power coming out of that early crotch rocket, hooked me.I was to scared to ride it clear across Las Vegas, NV. to get home so my buddy drove and I rode on the back.
      When I got home I just started moving in 1st and 2nd gear early afternoon, by early evening I was racing up the Hwy toward Reno, almost didn't turn around.
      Moral is take a few minutes to get to know her and where all of the controls are and after that youll be driving like a pro. Don't worry.

      If an oafish American may cut in here. This is my first bike. Learned on a 150cc and jumped to this...1690cc's? It's more maneuverable than I'd have thought and has good pull round 3000 RPM. You can do it easily. Check it out.

    • @Motonewbrider
      @Motonewbrider  8 років тому +1

      it would be okay I think. However I would personally go for the street bob SE which has the forward controls and drag bar - for me that is super comfy.

      @@captainblackbeard3345 sounds like you didnt throw enough flow on her. You can always customize a street bob to make it comfy for long distance. New shocks, seat, windshield/ fairing to start with. I can ride 4 hrs straight with no problem on mine

      get the lowrider, best bang for your buck in the dyna family, double discs frontbrakes, twoseater, tachometer and so on.

      Prometheus How about the vibration in street bob & fat bob ?

    • @prometheus5311
      @prometheus5311 7 років тому

      Most vibration at idle, and when you ride some at the footpegs, but nothing harsh, the engine is rubber mounted.
