As an American who’s been appalled with our European policies since the Clinton administration’s intervention in Kosovo, I’m hugely relieved by Secretary Rubio’s truly revolutionary commentary. Question is, will the Ukraine War perpetrators in DC ultimately be hunted down and criminally charged by the new administration? No doubt the bureaucracy would fight back violently, but it’s PRECISELY the level of accountability many Americans want to see.

"FLORIDA MAN" & SURRENDER TO RUSSIA: Interestingly Rubio was a big supporter of Ukraine when he was in the Senate. Now he has to cut Ukraine loose & sell it down the river to Russia/Putin at Trump's behest...Just shows us that "Little Marco" has no principles....and never had any...just an idiotic religo-fanatic elected from a so-called "conservative" red state who is just well-spoken (and not much else)....In short an empty suit who will do anything for power,,,,or being close to the center of power in DC

George Soros did not invade Ukraine. The claim that he invaded Ukraine is false. However, Soros has been actively involved in promoting democracy in Ukraine for many years through his Open Society Foundations. In a 2014 CNN interview, Soros mentioned that he had set up a foundation in Ukraine before it became independent from Russia, which has been functioning since then and played a role in the country's democratic movements. He has also criticized Russia's actions in Ukraine and called for Western countries to take a stronger stance against Russian aggression.

I haven't forgotten the Odessa massacre. Certainly neither have you.
I'm also aware you can even get arrested for singing the Russian folk songs. Terrible, terrible oppression.
I'm deeply ashamed of the UK government's support of the evil Kiev coup government.
I also hope for the Russians to free you.
One of Pres. Putin's requirements for peace is denazification of Ukraine, & equal rights for ethnic Russians in Ukraine.
However, as I understand it, the area around Odessa is now the only major port for Ukraine. IMO they can only stop terrorism / ongoing guerrilla warfare by controlling those ports, & allowing free use by Ukraine but ONLY if Ukraine prevents any disruption of the peace.
      Keep strong.

I had to rewind this to be certain I heard you correctly. Then I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. An admission that it is no longer a unipolar world, and that the U.S. could no longer be the world cop, and from none other than Marco Rubio! WOW.

    • @HNH421
      @HNH421 6 днів тому

It was not an admission that America was not the top hegemonic power at the moment !
it was a conformation of the wishes of his party
let AI explain to you what you heard him say:-
If a political party was non-interventionist, it's likely that they would express views that prioritize avoiding military interventions and minimizing U.S. involvement in foreign conflicts. In this context, they might say things like "unipolar world, and that the U.S. could no longer be the world cop." This statement suggests a shift away from the idea of the United States acting as the sole global authority or policeman, which is often associated with interventionist policies.
Non-interventionists tend to argue that the United States should focus on its own domestic issues and avoid entanglements in foreign conflicts, unless they directly threaten national security. They might advocate for a more isolationist approach, where the U.S. prioritizes its own interests and avoids taking on a global policing role.
In this scenario, a non-interventionist political party might emphasize the need for the United States to reevaluate its role in the world and adopt a more nuanced approach to international relations. They might argue that the U.S. should focus on building alliances, promoting diplomacy, and addressing global challenges through cooperative efforts, rather than relying solely on military power or unilateral action.
Some possible statements that might be made by a non-interventionist political party include:
The U.S. should prioritize diplomacy and international cooperation over military intervention.
The concept of a "unipolar world" is no longer tenable, and the U.S. must adapt to a more multipolar global landscape.
The U.S. can no longer afford to act as the "world cop," and should focus on addressing its own domestic challenges.
Military intervention should only be used as a last resort, and should be subject to rigorous scrutiny and debate.
Overall, a 50% non-interventionist political party would likely emphasize the need for a more restrained and cooperative approach to international relations, and would argue that the U.S. should prioritize its own interests and avoid taking on unnecessary burdens or risks.
see ??? he just said what you already wonted to hear - he did not say the USA was not Number one.

The phrase " Gott mit uns" (God is with us) was used on belt buckles by German military forces, not the Red Army. During World War II, Wehrmacht soldiers wore this slogan on their belt buckles, while members of the Waffen-SS wore a different motto, "Meine Ehre heißt Treue" (My honour is loyalty). The Red Army, which was the land force of the Soviet Union, did not use this phrase on their belt buckles.

@@victorswiercz8203 The balance of probability suggests that a multipolar world with China as it hegemonic dominant power would likely be more challenging for global stability compared to one with India in a similar position. Here are the key points to consider:
China's Ascent: China's rapid economic growth and technological advancements have positioned it as a formidable global power. However, its assertive foreign policy and territorial disputes, particularly with neighbors like India and Japan, could lead to increased tensions and instability.
India's Role: India, as an emerging global power, seeks to balance its strategic interests by engaging in multilateralism and strengthening strategic partnerships. India's approach emphasizes cooperation on security and defense policies, addressing issues like terrorism, cyber security, and maritime security.
Global Influence: India's influence is seen in its participation in global forums like the United Nations, the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the G20. It aims to promote common global agendas on human rights, democracy, and regional security, which align more closely with international norms and values.
Regional Stability: India's strategic partnerships and selective engagement with global powers aim to maintain a rules-based global order. In contrast, China's pursuit of regional hegemony and its territorial disputes could disrupt regional stability.
Technological and Military Capabilities: While both countries have significant military and technological capabilities, India's approach to defense and security is more aligned with international cooperation and multilateralism, which could contribute to a more stable multipolar world.
In summary, a multipolar world with India as its hegemonic power is likely to be more stable and conducive to global peace due to its emphasis on multilateralism, regional cooperation, and adherence to international norms.

Getting the Russian hydrocarbons is an economic necessity for Europeans rather than political need

    • @HNH421
      @HNH421 7 днів тому

The European Union is phasing out Russian hydrocarbons by 2027 because, despite being an economic necessity, they want to reduce their dependence on Russian energy due to the country's military actions in Ukraine. The EU aims to be completely independent of Russian fossil fuels by 2027, with plans to cut their needs by two-thirds within a year. This decision is driven by the desire to oppose Russia's actions and to avoid using energy as a weapon in economic warfare. The EU has set a deadline to end all imports of Russian hydrocarbons by 2027, and is working to diversify its energy supplies and reduce its reliance on Russian oil and gas.

The EU desperately needs Russian oil. They can’t phase out the need for oil & gas for decades - There’s nothing reliable that can replace it & why anyways? The EU is at the mercy of everyone involved. They have been in the process of self-destruction for awhile. Getting off of the USD anytime soon is something that won’t happen. It’ll take time & a strong desire internationally & that doesn’t exist yet. It is being discovered gold isn’t going to do it for most of the world. Investing in it is great, but it isn’t the end all. What may happen is you’ll go back to having more than one reserve currencies. The USD is well established world-wide. The BRICS can’t get along good enough to have a unified currency. Maybe another fiat currency will come about? Bitcoin won’t take over the world. Just my opinion

      China's $1 Trillion Surplus
China's $1 trillion trade surplus in 2024 has raised concerns about its future actions regarding its foreign exchange reserves, particularly its holdings of US Treasury securities, often referred to as "gilts" in some contexts, though typically these are called "treasuries" in relation to the US.
China's trade surplus is driven by strong overseas demand and anticipated tariffs under Donald Trump's presidency, leading to a rush in shipments to the US. The surplus is a sign of weakness rather than strength, indicating China's struggle with internal economic issues. With the surplus, China has been accumulating foreign currency, including US dollars, which it has used to purchase US Treasury securities.
Regarding whether China will continue to purchase US treasuries or let them mature, there are several considerations:
Economic Strategy: China might choose to continue purchasing US treasuries to maintain its foreign exchange reserves and support the value of the Renminbi (RMB). However, China has also been implementing measures to control capital outflows and stabilize the RMB, which could influence its decision to buy more treasuries.
Political Tensions: With the return of Donald Trump to the presidency, tensions over trade and economic policies may increase. This could lead China to reconsider its strategy of holding US treasuries, as it seeks to protect its economic interests.
Diversification: China might opt to diversify its foreign exchange reserves by reducing its holdings of US treasuries and increasing investments in other assets or currencies. This would be a strategic move to reduce dependency on the US dollar and mitigate risks associated with US economic policies.
Market Signals: If China decides to let its US treasuries mature rather than reinvesting in new ones, it could signal a shift in its economic stance and potentially impact global financial markets. However, China has historically managed its treasury holdings carefully to avoid sudden market disruptions.
In summary, while China's $1 trillion trade surplus suggests it has the financial capacity to continue purchasing US treasuries, the country's future actions will depend on its broader economic strategy, political considerations, and efforts to diversify its investments.
      JUST SAYING ; )

Kellogg's negotiation position was strengthened by the fact that the USA is willing to recognize the existence and strategic interests of Russia as one of the poles. This is getting close to understanding why the "special military operation" was started. Without it, any kind of agreement is hopeless. Maybe this is what Runio is aiming for.
