You got squaring up with the acrylic ruler correct! I have a couple of different sizes. I use the 6 1/2" and 2 1/2" the most often. I love watching your show. You've taught me a great deal!

I'm not a clapper fan for flattening HST. I use one when tailoring, which I don't do much any longer.
