It's fascinating stuff but I can't help to feel there's a sinister side to AI especially when it's becoming so powerful so fast and in the hands of one guy and no, contrary to what the creator of the channel says in the end, I don't think Sam Altman is that much of a good guy considering he's in alliance with Microsoft as I'm sure Bill Gates still has huge influence. And besides, all this power in one or a few persons can easily change them and not in a good way. I'm sure this is exciting for the younger generations and the globalists; it even seems like a marxist utopia driven by technology. As far as generating things (which compared to the other stuff discussed here seems like child's play) I think the less effort you apply to achieving something the less you enjoy things. Putting effort into something gives you a sense of accomplishment and joy. Having all this stuff readily available destroys the sense of wonder. AI will take all this away, what makes you human will be gone, the process is important. What kind of person will you be if everything is instantly available and takes no effort to do? To me it's the mid 80s until mid 90s where I feel we had the right balance between technology and society. I miss those times. I know most are excited about AI, not me. Then again, I'm just an old nostalgic fool, what do I know.

All the work on fusion did take place all the years without gpt5, q-star? and a special model trained just for fusion related research, based on gpt 5 and controlled by qstar. I think to there is a good chance for them to get nuclear fusion and to get their datacenter running for "free".

Plasma drills to dig 20Km deep wells and extract high gradient geothermal energy is a real and proved technology, much cheaper than fusion to build and the fist prototype well is already been drilled. That way we could simply run all the existing thermal power plants (coal, gas, oil, biofuels and even nuclear fision) in the world by this clean technology without having to build new plants or create new distribution infrastructure. As usual nobody see the big elephant sitting in the couch while they look at the TV or computer screen.
