i wore it for the first time today, along with the primer, set it with the HB loose powder and charlotte tilbury setting . initially, i thought i’d put way too much primer on. at first, i was disappointed because the foundation was a tiny bit too dark/orange, but i used blue color corrector and it blended beautifully. however, i boxed it back up to return because the undertone was a letdown. as the day progressed, my oily skin didn’t look at all oily, and the color-match was looking perfect. idk how!? i took a nap, and when i woke up, my fiancé had come home. i came out of the bedroom and his eyes lit up. lol he said: whoa! what’s happening with your face!? your skin looks beautiful, babe! so, that was lovely… thanks, huda!😘

Precisely, the easy blur is supposed to take out imperfections. I don't think it's supposed to be skin-like. You know how filters are fake? She said in its marketing that you're going to look flawless like a filter. It's definitely going to look like makeup on the skin. People need to realise that not everything is supposed to look like "no-makeup, makeup" or MLBB. Some of girls like the full coverage foundation, winged liner and red lipstick.
Yes she for sure goes for more coverage than “no makeup, makeup”! But I believe the “claim” for this is for it to look like you’re not wearing anything? I have no problems with looking like I’m wearing makeup bc that’s just the reality of it 😂
I don’t know it looks really good to me, but I’m very oily so I’ll pass on this thanks for the review! I hate using too much powder on top of foundation.
I too have oily skin and as long as I use a good setting spray ( I never go without one) it lasts quite well but everyone skin is different. If you want to try it out I recommend getting the travel size to see how you go

not sure if its the same for you, but any supplements that have high amounts of biotin make me breakout really intensely, even a can or two of celsius energy drinks break me out because that contain biotin for some reason. took me a while to figure that out
Good to know! So it's not something your body eventually gets used to? I was reading that Vitamin B6 can cause breakouts in high dosages (which is what's in the supplement) but couldn't figure out if once your hormones balanced, if the skin would look better
@@ByKristinaStudio I just got estrogen and progesterone from my menopause clinic. I’m going through very early menopause. This $hit is a rollercoaster, ladies. I'm not sure if I would have ever adjusted, but I was breaking out for a solid 2 months before I figured out what it was
Nice review! I used Charlottte Tilbury’s Magic Hydrator list and Smashbox Minimimize pores primer. That did the trick to allow for a nice matte blurry finish. Using moisturizer underneath did not work.
That is odd! I wonder if they were trying to do more nuanced undertones because they have "beige undertones" and "pinky-beige" "peachy gold" "golden neutral" and "red neutral" which are ones I don't think we see as often. There's no "cool" or "warm" but they did keep neutral which is interesting
If you're interested in trying the foundation, I've found that the shade 'Custard' is a great match for my light to medium olive skin tone. You might find it suitable as well if you have a similar complexion ☺️
I have huda faux filter in shade tres leches. I bought tres leches in easy blur and the undertone looks very different. It looks neutral compared to the warm undertone in faux filter for tres leches. I have to buy another easy blur foundation to mix. Still searching which one to buy amaretti baklava or macchiato 😢😢😢😢
I think that's a perfect shade match before bronzing and highlighting. Maybe it looks too light in person but it looked like a perfect match to me. 🤷🏻♀️ i think it oxidizes though. I did see that it was a little light on the other side before it oxidized. I also think the non-primer side looked better. I'm kind of hesitant to buy it. It looks too glowy. I felt that way about the tirtir cushion foundation. It brought out all my texture. I even tried it without powder and used less and I still didn't love it. This kind of reminds me of that. I had to do extra steps to make it work and I want something that works quickly, without extra bs. We all aren't beauty influencers, we want something that works without having to do extra steps to make it work.
Thank you for the feedback! I agree, these days enjoy a no-fuss foundation so much more than something I have to force to work for me. I’m still testing this out so I’m hoping it does become easier to use once I figure out the best prep and/or setting products that pair well with it
I actually love this. I have a very oily skin, but this looks so good after a 12 hr day. I don’t set with setting powder, just setting spray. It looks so beautiful! My face looks healthy and satin. The only Sephora foundation purchase I kept. 🌸
I've watched sooo many reviews on this. Honestly not on you but other reviews the creator would come on after wearing over 8 hours and they said to them that it looked great still. To me on camera it looked fizzled in the tzone and like they had a long hard day 🤔. Not what I'm looking for and definitely with other products I know that look. My ciele and Ilia just dont do that on me. When I read comments from woman in my age range I see people say this foundation is nice initially but it sits a little heavy and the wear in pores and lines after long wear is not good. But many are also praising it. Definitely will get sample first as I definitely think it is worth trying .
The previous Faux Filter foundation was a fail. It didn't live up to any of the longevity claims, and this one seems like it will lift up and get messed up with sweat too. Faux Filter becomes completely undone with minimum amounts of sweat, it also has to be applied with very particular brushes. It shouldn't be in Sephora imho.
I'm disappointed with this foundation, which I found to be excessively thick and heavy on my normal skin (I'm 45). Although it applies smoothly at first, it quickly transforms into a paste-like texture that feels suffocating and accentuates imperfections rather than providing a natural-looking finish 🤷🏻♀️
What kind of primer are you using? You may prefer to use something hydrating underneath and if you don’t already, prep your skin well and let that sink in before you apply the products. I hope it works out for you
