Normal Operating mode- The LED 5 needs to flash once in the open and close travel sequence. If this does not happen, it is an indication that the microswitch is faulty or the actuator on the chain/belt rail is missing. The actuator is a little triangular item, made of either plastic or a cast alloy. The item usually splits in 2, to clip over the link on a chain rail. A little screw holds the top and bottom piece of the actuator together. Without that reference point being registered on the controller, the system wont find the travel limit position. Contact your nearest Marantec dealer for assistance with the spare parts. I hope this helps.
Mine had a similar problem. It lost calibration. It did not stop, neither at the upper limit, nor at the lower limit. I had to put a tire up on the belt near the motor. There was a piece of plastic that had worn out. This tire up moves a switch inside the motor. After installing the tire up it works normally. There is a video explains it.
