4/14/2020 - spent 30 minutes screwing around with the side sensors before I watched this video, and in 10 seconds the solution was pushing the reset button on the overhead unit and I was back in business.. thank you!!!

Essortment , I got zero help from the instructions on Mom's Liftmaster. She had me change the code; then the clickers wouldn't work (which is new). This video helped me get them working again; thank you very much and God bless you.

Then I did the second one that is part of the car and that one worked, too. Before I saw your video, I was seeing dollar signs for two new remotes. You are doing good, really appreciate the help.

I keep one of those multi drivers in the junk drawer. Unless I need serious torque. Then, we pull out the other ones.
The 20 buck ones (NOT cheap Aldi junk, get a decent Dewalt or something) with the bits in the handle.

My remote doesn't work im not sure if its my batteries 2023 because I have a liftmaster 895Max 3-Button multi frequency and when i push it with my tool in the battery the blue lights turn on but when i dont they turn off.. Does that mean its my batteries that need a bigger size? Or my remote needs to be reprogrammed? Im so confused and need to open my garage for the winter

Thank you! Took a while to find the learn button, it was quite small and out of the way. Took two tries to make it work and I did not hear a "click" like he says, but the light on the learn button blinked twice when it had learned the new remote and worked wonderfully after that!

Mine is an older version with two light bulbs and it took me a minute to find a button because mine is totally different all the wires are in the Front as i looked didn't see it at first i saw a button black in color so i push it in then climb down the ladder to get the new remote then it activated to go down without touching the new remote so i touched it again it opened i quess i press the remote many times before. It works so i'm good with it
I just tried to do this, but my Chamberlain opener (Model 450) DOESN’T HAVE A LEARN BUTTON. For those looking at this video and in the same predicament, here’s how to program your opener another way: If you have a similar opener unit to mine, you’ll notice that where the “learn button” should be is instead a row of little tiny switches (I think these are called “DIP switches” in computerland). There are 9 of them, and each one is set to 1 of 3 possible positions: Up, Middle or Down. Now, remove the back of your remote, and inside on the circuit board you’ll see a similar row of switches. Now you just need to make the position of each corresponding switch match. You can either change the opener’s switches to match the remote’s, or vice versa. I changed the opener to match the remote, and that worked. (Didn’t try it the other way around, but logically that should work just as well). I used a tiny flat blade screwdriver to flip the switches. Anyway, hope this helps some folks out there.
