Good Job❤
Thanks bro.
Good tip if thats the look you want. If not its tape and paint
Paint and tape won’t fix drywall gaps.
@@BillOfAllTrades2016 yes sir ...gaps up to 1 inch it absolutely will on a stationary fixture in a box.
Larger than ½ you should add a little plaster to your mix ( a hot mix ) and use mesh tape. However with practice paper tape works too. First green lid hot mix. Then blue lid as normal.
For that small of a gap you show most tapers wouldn't even blink.
Oh ok. You are talking about missing around it. You said paint and tape. I thought you meant tape off the light and paint the ceiling. You should have said mud and paint lol. And yes I understand that most tapers would just mud it up in a flash but this video is not for them. This is for a person that may not be good at mudding. Also this is an instant fix. 15 min minutes done. Mudding I would have had to leave the light hanging while it cures then sand then paint. That’s a long process
@@BillOfAllTrades2016 yeah true. Sorry for delay. Yes mud tape paint. Cute time on a hot mix is about 10 minutes ... With about 2 hours till sandable .... 1 30 if you use sponge instead of sand paper .. 2 hours if you do a second over coat . Best to put fixture up while paint is drying , it will act like caulking.
