    Thank you very much for your video, I didn't have to buy a new dryer, it only took about 10 minutes to remove it, and then took it to a Chinese phone repair shop, he repaired the computer board in 20 minutes, cost 20 dollars, actually he only charged 10 dollars, I tip 10 dollars. Compared to buying a new one, it's worth it.

    Thank you sir. Its snowing here in Virginia, and the dryer quit for the 3rd time being something different every time. This time, this issue you spoke of was the problem. I pulled the burned board out and soldered like you mentioned. Back in business with a total turn key job less than 45 minutes. Included the walk to the shop in tje snow storm. That was a challenging part .lol.😅

  • @billparker5457
    @billparker5457 8 місяців тому +2

    You fixed the symptom but not the problem. You must replace the relay on the other side of the board. It overheated and generated enough heat to have a micro explosion that blew off the soldered joint on the other side.

    • @MarkenAndSonAdventures
      @MarkenAndSonAdventures  8 місяців тому

      You are correct I did replace the relay on the other side and am putting the real problem off till another day. I did my fix almost 2 years ago and it is working perfect. I have had so many success stories since I posted this video. So sometimes the simplest fix is the best solution in my books. Thanks for watching and I hope my video helped!!

      @@MarkenAndSonAdventures seeing as how its a 30A relay that the wiring connects to, shouldn't I use a 30A wire? 10AWG? i see yours and other videos using a smaller wire, so maybe not. Your fix is still holding strong?

    Thk you so much for your video. I got so excited when found out the exact what you showed and it fixed the problem error code F01. However , the dryer would run for 2 minutes, then showed error F22 and stopped. What should i do now?

    • @MarkenAndSonAdventures
      @MarkenAndSonAdventures  Рік тому

      I would double check your solder points that you just made to make sure that are solid connections, the F22 is a door latch error code. If after you have checked your solder connections and it still not working. My next move would be to replace the board. And would be much cheaper then buying a new machine. And at this point you already know how to remove and reinstall. I wish you luck and let me know how it goes.

    • @MarkenAndSonAdventures
      @MarkenAndSonAdventures  9 місяців тому +1

      So you have the F01 code and no damage at all to your circuit board. I’m not sure what to think. I have had so many success stories shared back with me, but this is a first with no damage to circuit board.

    Love the video 😂 Did the red part come with your wiring or did you get that separate?

    • @MarkenAndSonAdventures
      @MarkenAndSonAdventures  2 роки тому +1

      The red part is just piece of wire I had around. It does not need to be red wire. I just cut a piece of wire I had on hand. Stripped the wire to expose the wire and soldered the wire to the contact point. Very easy to fix. Should maybe take 10 minutes to complete the fix. Good luck and like and subscribe if this helps

    If I lay on top of my dryer like you did with yours it would dent it down against the tub and I'd have to listen to it scrape against it for the rest of my life or until I took the top off again and pushed out the dent. I don't recommend laying on the top of your dryer or putting any real weight on the lid at all.

    That's not a good way to encourage regular people to handle electrical parts, and you know electricity is no joke. Just because you have experience fixing electrical boards doesn't mean everyone can do it. So please, don't be careless and avoid making videos encouraging people to fix these things themselves.
