Adjusting the ENO type straps isn't as difficult as it would seem. You can wrap the straps more than once around a tree to get nearly infinite adjustment. Problems are: the straps get shorter, and once in ten thousand both trees are the perfect diameter for even spacing. You can tell that rather quickly by wrapping the middle part of the strap around the tree to see if the loops line up before hanging.
Their straps are a small bit of webbing and whoopies which I hate and are are only 8'4" saving some weight there. As for the hammock (which is what the video is about) this one weighs 4.6oz without the stuff sack. I think this mono material is better than 1.1 ripstop nylon. I use 1.9 on my camping hammock. Thanks for the heads up but this one is better IMO.
I despise whoopies. They fail at the worst times. Can adjust the ENO type loop straps. Next set may be the slide buckle type, but that will be a few years.
I use the ENO Sub7 (8.75'x4') with Hummingbird Button Link Set (5.3oz total) and Hummingbird straps (2.3oz). I have found issue with the short webbing of the original straps, so I appreciate your straps. Can you explain your issue with whoopie slings?
John Godwin compared to a decent cottage industry hammock it is cheap. Though the webbing is probably on the narrow side. The tree protector option was better and should be the only option.
I tried to like this product but it is lacking to the Eno in the respect that you have less strap options. STS hammock could not be used with the carabiners I typically use nor could it be used with the rope I use either. Shame because I really liked the product. With Eno you are unhindered on strap choices.
looks like a great hammock, however it it appears that this more for kids, it does not look long enough or wide enough for adults, i typically only use hammocks that are at least 12' long.......reason being i lay in the hammock diagonally.........good review
ENO hammocks are downright painful to use as a chair. All the unnecessary material totally bights into the back of my legs. It wasn’t until I got my Hammock Gear hammock that I realized just how comfortable a hammock can be as a chair.
It's crazy to see a net looking material holding up to 400 pounds, but that thing is dope.
Wow, how convenient. Quick set up and take down. A must to keep in the vehicle. Thanks. Tony
Impressive!
I wasn't sure if anyone would be able to beat the Eno Sub6 at 5.8 ounces.
Great review as always.
it's only 4.6oz without stuff sack .

TQ Ben....details setup really helpful

i like it , thanks for sharing !

The Hummingbird Hammocks single is only 5.2 oz and their straps are 2.3 oz (both straps combined).

@@livingsurvivalplus the straps don't come with the hummingbird, so it's double the cost of this.
The hummingbird is double the price cuz the straps are separate and expensive.
Hi sorry to ask this but does this comes with any straps at all or none? I know the tree protector straps but not the suspension straps. Thank you.
Yes, although they don’t make this model anymore. They make a regular and jungle hammock and both come with straps.
@@livingsurvival Thanks for reply could not find any information. I may read it but got confused. Have a good one.
Nice lightweight hammock! Post this video on my Michigan Hammock Forums if you want. Bob
question, why would you need a light weight hammock when yiou wouldn't use it for backpacking
Think of it as a recliner, not a bed. It's a super light weight piece of camping furniture, to sit in or take a nap when tent camping.
It's great for destination backpacking like Havasupai. You might want to relax on a hammock throughout the day and sleep in your tent.
What is its weight capacity?

SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ben, that's a freaky looking fabric. Looks cool though.
I believe that the hummingbird hammocks single is also lighter.
Sick and nasty. I dig it. Good vid Ben
Cool video I am a new subscriber I love your content
thanks.
Did he mention how much weight I can hold. Did he mention how much he weight I think not. 😂😂😎
Is it lighter than the nano7?
awesome review!
still holding up?
Can I ask what’s the brand and model of your sunglasses???
Looks to be Oakley TwoFace. I have them and love them.
choltzapple
Thanks
Imagine how lightweight it would be if they bothered to make it out of dyneema instead.
Cool product... how much does it cost?
$230.00
Wish you had tested the grey; can not tell from the Amazon page, if it would "blend"
into the background; do not like the yellow : (
Great review but is there a weight limit? Im a big guy...
300lbs.
Thanks. I'm just a little over that
Interesting. Do you think this would be good as an emergency hammock?
definitely.
I like it, but I do think $70 is a lil steep for just a keep in the car hammock

Amazing just awesome excellent review solid
Would you buy th single or Single Xl sizes? I'm 6 feet
Xl is more comfortable
please look at the bug net very interested
I want it☺
That’s crazy small
DD Super light Hammock is lighter, smaller, cheaper and includes suspension system Total Weight 280g
... which means twice the weight.

you can lay somewhat diagonally. i am 5'10" 225 and it works fine for me.

This gotta be a joke....no way it's THAT small and works.
Still using it, works great.
The Daylite Hammock by Superior Gear claims that title at only 4 oz
WOW
