This was recorded in December 2022, before Ren blew up and people discovered Chinchilla as well. This was shown a couple of weeks ago - I nearly fell off my chair when Chinchilla was suddenly there on national TV ! Fingers (pun intended) crossed for her that it goes well !
Can't wait to see when they switch to the live shows, and all the coaches know who she is now. Ohhhhh it's gonna be fire!!

@@rachelcarter5282no it was an indie label, her and Ren finally managed to end their contracts shortly before the voice started filming. Also the winner gets signed to Universal, who by the way Chinchilla is now signed too 👀

Chinchilla and Ren were both signed to Sony but it was the management they both left that they say was difficult
@@Taratara-uc8pn I knew Ren had previously been signed to Sony but thought his contract with them ended years ago when he got too sick to honour it.

I had an issue with the voice and so have never really watched it. When my ex bands lead singer went on... They had all our videos removed from UA-cam. Videos that hold an even more importance since the keys player and heart of the band took his life a few years ago. And now I'll never get any of that back.
Despite that... I watched these episodes just to see and support Chinchilla and Petebox on socials and I really hope it brings them the light they deserve! Big love Cliff! Great reaction

Tom Jones must have filled his team up prior. Gosh what a talent he still is Cliff! Been performing since say 13 yrs. Still can sing and belt out. Love a duo album of Chinchilla/ Tom Jones. Have you featured Angelina Jordan's version? Can't remember- she was 6 .

This section contains f the show is the blinds- the coaches listen without seeing the artist and turn around before the end of the performance if they want you on their team. The coaches invite a guest artist each week to help coach their teams. The next stage they pair members on their own team to whittle it down. And so forth til the teams compete down to a winner.

I'm so frustrated I can't stream The Voice UK to watch her journey. Apparently you have to sign up for a streaming service that's only available in the UK. If anyone in the US knows how I can watch the show, please let me know.

@@Erfedwe Probably. That was my first thought, but I've heard bad things about the free ones and I wouldn't use it enough to justify paying for one. I was hoping there was a direct link that I was missing.
If they have Ren come in as a guest judge with her and do their duet for their song. She will obviously win, they didn't realize at the time they were recruiting a superstar about to blow up at that time....if I remember her audition was recorded right before Hi-Ren dropped, then Chalk Outlines was found by everyone behind that and of course their other great one How To Be Me. either of those gets performed if they have some sort of 'original' week or anything, she wins.

Chinchilla aka Daisy doesn't need any coaching. She's what she is and shouldn't be molded into someone else's style. Some coaches think that some songs need to be delivered a different way or in style other than their own. She's special. But that is my own opinion on that part of the Voice. I normally only watch the auditions, when the battles begin I stop watching, usually because the ones I like haven't gotten through. A pity.
@Cliff Beats , The judges here are Olly Murs , Sir Tom Jones , Ann-Marie & Will.i.Am . As good as Chinchilla is i don't think she'll win , she will probably get to the final but there is 2 or 3 strong contestants so far . So the object of the game is for the judges to hear the singing voices will their chairs are turned away and if they like the voice they turn and try to convince the singer to join their team . Over 6 weeks of the auditions the judges must each choose 10 singer for their teams and then in the next round they battle each other until they reduce 40 down to 5 for the final . The winner normally wins £100k ,a record contract and a luxury holiday . They are normally given a song which enter the charts for them to compete for the xmas no.1 .
Even she doesn't win, she is being seen by millions, which may open doors for her. Sometimes the coaches, especially Will.i.am, like to work with the quality singers after the show has finished, even if they haven't won. So fingers crossed !
Yes i agree & if we go by the history on these shows quite often the winner disappears after a year and it's those who finish 2nd 3rd 4th etc that go on to have success . @@sammyd8860
She signed to a major label already - Universal. They signed her after "Little Girl Gone" blew up.
This show was all filmed over a year ago so old news really although it’s only just going out in uk - she has since blown up independently and has signed with Island on her terms
