I am a household of one. Money means a lot and that's why I starting using these a few years ago. Seems I always had to throw some vegis away because I couldn't use them before they went bad. With these vegis I have no waste and they're good! Buy a lot now, the weather is going to give a big delay to planting and vegis will become extremely expensive.

I forgot to mention, when you get close to the bottom of the can you will find some (micro pieces). Don't throw those away! I put them in a shaker and use it as a seasoning for gravy and other soups......no waste

Prepping your preps...... love that. Anywho, I have a few cases of stew blend and it's good to know how it tastes. Post SHTF I think soup will be a mainstay. And no. I don't try everything I store, at least the more expensive #10 can stuff, I lean on review channels as a guide. Thanx for the video.

I've been buying the cans of freeze dried meats lately. As far as I'm concerned, right now, that's the most important prep in terms of protein at the moment. Once I've got enough of that, I'll throw in some of this type of prep. My beans and rice stocks are up to par. Thanks for sharing brother.

Hello AP, it’s been a while since I commented, I’ve been under the weather. Something I personally do when I buy a can such is this I grab my sharpie pen and write on the lid the purchase date, and the price I paid. Also where I bought it. If someone has a protein source like hamburger or ground turkey or chicken that would be a bonus to this dish. Thanks for all you do to bring all this information to us.
I have learned from a ton of UA-cam videos that people aren’t prepared with their spices. That’s where you can combat food fatigue. I wish for you to address this in a video. I buy my spices at my Grocery Outlet store. I buy the large containers for under $5. I’m able to purchase granulated garlic and onion under $5. I never buy the powder only the granulated. It’s like night and day as far as the flavor goes. Thank you again for all your hard work 🦋💜

After adding the beef , all you need are some beets and cream to call it "Borscht Soup".
Victor would feel right at home !
    Borscht Soup is great stuff.
My in-laws used to add whatever veggies were at hand, but always used beets, cabbage, cream & beef in their Borscht soup.

Your stew looks delicious! Vegetable Blend is an item that I've stocked a lot of, anticipating that we would be making soups and stews most of the time. With bouillon, seasoning, and a can of meat, you've got a great meal. Thanks for reviewing this item. It will be a staple for many peppers.

I dehydrate my own vegetables, but I want some of these, too. Glad to know they are good. I figure it's good to have more than one choice - if my veggies run out, or go bad, or get infested, I'll have these to fall back on. Nice flavor for lots of meals.

This had gone all the way up to $24.53 on Amazon and yesterday I ordered 2 cans for $12.82 a piece! Now today it's up to $17.27! I figure it will be good to add to soups and other things for more nutrition.

I tried that. I didn't like it by itself. A little too heavy on the green and red peppers. But you are right, it's good for a filler for soups and stews. Not my favorite. I'd rather get several cans of freeze dried veggies, and make my own mix.

Hello Hoot, I just took a look at their 12 Lbs. bucket and I think I will get that in the future. The 12 Lbs. bucket is less than $60 but brings the equivalent of about 6 cans so you could say that you are getting twice as much product for about half the price if you were to buy only # 10 cans. Hey AP! I want to recommend to you and my fellow subscribers that you watch The War Time Farm by the BBC on UA-cam. Everyone should study that series. Whatever problem we might encounter, it’s a pretty safe bet food would be rationed during any national or global emergency. That’s assuming there’s any government left to take control. I have watched the series several times. It’s kind of shocking how controlled everything was, soap eggs, milk, everything except vegetables you grew yourself. You can imagine how things would be if half the people were starving with no kind of control. I kept thinking, you should have prepped a few bags of rice and some beans before the war started. I personally believe we are in more danger right now, then Great Britain was in during the late 1930s. With Hitler marching unchecked across every country in Europe, it seems logical to assume you might be next. So, you should start prepping a little bit while things were plentiful. Another important lesson to take from the series is the length of time food was rationed. It wasn’t just a few months, it was OVER TEN YEARS. Thanks for the review. I have been trying to decide about prepping dehydrated emergency food. Glad to see it’s good tasting and very long lasting.

People should keep in mine that a serving a a serving spoon full, so its just one scoop of food with a serving spoon. This concept is called rationing. It's when food is scares and you have to control how much you eat per day to make your food last as long as possible. I have heard lot of preppers say one spoon full just is not enough for them but you are suppose to have other varieties on your plat as well equaling to a full meal. A cording to the directions on rationing put out by the Food And Drug Administration there should be a least three items from the paraaortic food pyramid on your plate such as gain(Bread), Vegetable, Meat, Fruit or berries and Dairy. So one scoop can fill you with other things to eat. Most older people don't typically eat much anyways but I guess for some massively big guy this may be like torcher if they were ask to eat very little. I seen a lot of preppers round there plat on these demo video on re hydrating food like the Canadian Prepper on his cannel when he did a video on freeze dried food but you should practice food rationing so its not such a shock when you have to do it.

Like 1-5lb bags. Really cheap!! I am quite interested in the freeze dried and will seal myself. They also sell samples and regular sizes cheap to try and for everyday use. Oh and they are a clean company. NO GMO or chemicals and sell for waaay cheaper than others that do.
