There were a lot of manga that I enjoyed. My top 3 are: The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter, Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible, and Crossplay Love. It's hard bc obviously there are ones I love that I only read the most recent volume of that year (like Skip Beat, Natsume's Book of Friends, etc). Well, here's to another year of good reads. 🌳
I think our son is gay made it to my top books of the year too. I really loved how the mom is actually the main character, and she carries the story beautifully. I'm an adult living with my parents again after uni, not out to them, and this series hugged me when I needed it the most. My dad's made some horrible homophobic remarks in the past few months that would've made me spiral as a teen, but having the life experience I have now and stories like I think our son is gay, all I can really feel is pity. Like, you have a kid that you chose to have and you're purposefully engaging with them in ways that only lead to them cutting you off once they can move out... really really sad. I'm very happy to hear that you've been selling that series to parents that found themselves in a similar place that my parents did, but are actively choosing to behave differently. It does give me hope 💖💖
I love 🌳🌲🌴and am watching your video for the very first time. Thank you. Most of the titels I know but haven't read or they didn't got me. Like the manga from mom perspective. I started The Wall but forgot all about it. Very much love that the most are finished so I can read and then collect them if I want to. This was very lovely list. The non-spoiler hints make me what to give manga a try. I thought that one was a love-triangle so I was "np" ....but it is young and queer love...sounds good the way you explained it.
I do need a vlog on My Androgynous Boyfriend. Im sure is a me problem but I could not deal with the female lead. I really liked it when it was coming out slowly but when I binged it, i was so mad at her, i think im going to unhaul it. 🌳
I started reading I Think Our Son is Gay and it’s so sweet! I love it so much! Good job selling this to parents! I think it’s a great way for parents to see how to meet kids where they’re at, rather than pushing them to be where you think they should be!

i can't find a tree in my desktop emojis but here's something green instead 🐸 lol
I just finished I Want to be a Wall. On the same note of unconventional relationships is "I Married My Female Friend" which I really enjoy.
