All the movements in the dancing tells a story...the fingers, the hands, the arms, the facial expressions represent a word or an image, or an action and therefore the story telling develops during the dancing. If you are well versed in Bali culture you will be able to follow the story. Do some researching on the internet.
His facial expression should be more intense but fluid at the same time. His agem doesn't look that strong and elbow position should be just a little higher. Take a look at the video where I Made Djimat and his student giving Baris dance work demonstration in Copenhagen. Now that's Baris! Anyway, this dancer is doing a good job still.
