It's crazy to me that when you look up appliances on UA-cam, the majority of the top videos are just people talking about the features over videos of the ads (usually having never tried the product out themselves). I don't care what Keurig says in their marketing about their new machine. I care what an actually informed user says about the product lol Thanks for the video! My family went through several different models of Keurig and they were all fine bur when my girlfriend and I moved in together, I was shocked at how much I liked her Cuisinart Keurig pod maker. You turn it on, put the pod in, and it's hot immediately. Growing up, my families Keurigs all took 1-3 minutes to heat up so the instant heating of the Cuisinart was really nice. Unfortunately we started having issues with it where it would just keep saying "add water" and none of the fixes worked for us. Looking into a new machine now. May just get the same model of Cuisinart but I really like the idea of the Duo and the Supremes look nice too
My mom's K-Classic just konked out and we just lost my brother this year. She and I love coffee and with her and my late brother's birthday coming up together, I wanted to get her something that would make her feel even just a little better for the first holiday without him. It was hard to go back to the drip coffee for a couple of days while I waited on my Keurig to get here. There is a huge difference in the taste. Keurig makes a really good cup of coffee. This new one is a little different from my old one. I find putting the water filter in was easier than on the old one. Attaching the water reservoir was also a little different but once I figured it out, it too was easier. This new one has the auto off feature but is not programmable like the old one. Only three cup sizes instead of four. The odd thing for me was how much lighter in weight this one is compared to my old one. More plastic and much less metal in the construction of this one. The price is so much less than the original Keurig that I bought and the coffee tastes the same so all in all I am satisfied.
I normally watch videos on the feed screen (not clicking to the individual video screen) while sipping one of my 4 daily k cups, but you had me at “I‘ve bought all these keurigs with my own money“👍

I've had a K-Classic for several years and love it. I recently purchased a Keurig "Slim" model and found the machine sticks out way further than a normal Kuerig. I know the Classic is wider but the Slim is 15" long - and I have limited counter space so back to Amazon it went!
Just found you when trying to descale my Keurig slim, light came on and didn’t know how to do it….your video was great, I did everything you said and it all worked…..thanks you explain everything very well….
Interesting to see all the models on the market these days in case I ever need to replace mine. In the meantime I brew about 3 cups a day with my B145 Office Pro, purchased in 2015, using my own grinds. Thanks for the video.
I've had issues with the new 5 needle "Multi-Stream" units putting grounds in the coffee. My conclusion with them is the 5 top needles put water into the cup faster than the single on the bottom will allow the water to exit and the seals at the top are not able to contain the pressure that builds in the cup allowing coffee and grounds to escape at the top and run down the side of the cup holder and into your mug. Also, consider the Cusinart versions of the Keurig brewers. They come with a 3 year warranty!
The K-Mini Plus is perfect for someone like me who just wants a mug in the morning. Strong button for an additional strength setting and a small footprint on the kitchen counter.

This is the best video to watch before you buy a Keurig I have seen. I have the K mini which I am happy with. I like the amount of water you put in it is what comes out so old water doesn’t just sit in there.
The best way to know which coffee maker to buy is to read all reviews of different brands & model you can best afford. Then pick 2 or 3 model and compare further thoroughly the reviews considering the prices you can afford. I noticed that higher prices doesn't necessRily a better choice ɓecause the reason for higher prices is the extra features which usually we don't need and the more features it has the faster it breaks down. Finally, I decided to buy the Keureg K express essential and I'm really satisfied ŵith it's feature and price but Ihave to buy the needed starter kit to really satistfy my needs and wants.
I absolutely love a good cup of coffee, but as someone who comes from a family where I am the only coffee drinker, I could not rationalized buying an expensive one that takes up a lot of space. I just found the mini plus on sale at Bed Bath and Beyond for $60. They do come in a lot of pretty colors. I ended up getting one in aqua, as that color matches the mini refrigerator in my bedroom.
This video was VERY helpful! I’ve been going back and forth between the supreme plus and the specialty and I think the plus is the better option for me. I am more of an iced coffee girl over lattes and I agree…it looks a bit old fashioned. Thanks so much for this content!!

My first experience was worry a k select at work, so I got myself a k select which ended up being gifted to grandma because my girl bought me a duo essentials at the same time (had to keep her gift lol)! Unfortunately that duo essentials was a POS because I had issues with the handle within 2 months but never filled out the warranty card and didn’t have receipt, etc.. so I didn’t even attempt to get it warrantied 😔 ..so anyway that was given to my mom (it still works you just have to hold the handle down for k cups, but they mostly do the carafe), and got myself the k express. 100% has been a good coffee maker! Quiet and fast! I just ordered a k iced because it was on sale and I wanted a backup, which I have no doubt will work out great judging from your reviews on it! I prefer the single cup Keurig. The reservoir creeps me out! Having the water sitting there makes me think something is growing in there! I had a K Classic for awhile, but I ended up buying a single cup, which I liked better, so I gave the classic to someone at work.
Great video and information. I still have the K70 which is one of the older styles with a 70oz reservoir and digital menu (got in 2011). I think it was predecessor to the K-Elite. It does 4-12oz (5 sizes) cups, temperature control, but no over ice or strong brew. I love it and will be keeping it until it stops working.
I just got the K-Express for my Birthday on the 18th. Still haven't used it yet so I can't say if I like it or not, but I have plans to use it soon so we shall see!
I originally intended to purchase a K-Classic at Walmart, but I ended up choosing the Ultima Cosa espresso maker with an integrated grinder for just $259. Coffee bean are a lot cheaper than the K-cup.

Great video! I remember getting the K-Elite 2 years ago as my first Keurig. I personally like the design of it since it fits well in my kitchen. So far, it's running great with no problems. Probably because I descale it every 3 months. Hope it lasts for another 2 or more years.
I have a standard K Duo Its fantastic basically a Keurig and the Mr. Coffee machine combined I personally don't have a problem with the bulkiness as it's much better to have one machine rather than 2

I’m looking to replace my 2016 2.0 because the hinge has been busted for years causing us to reach our fingers into the danger needles area to close it. It’s good to see that has been eliminated.

Hearing issues with it just stopping to work and descale problems makes me nervous. @@MrSanctumus Stick with the simple express. When you find you want a little more control over you coffee then the Supremes are the way to go, more temp settings and more strengths, but yeah the supremes can have problems with descale and shutting down for sure.
I have the little red one and I add a small filter before I start it(reusable filter) and it greatly helps the taste! Sometimes if I don’t put filter in straight it backs up and comes out very messily 😅 I wish keurig made filters that fit.
I love your videos, I have the Red one k- classic had it one month stop half way when using Pod , so I put in My K Cup and it works . I called Keurig and they are sending me a New One . Oh I for got it would turn it self off half way when using the Pods weird.

K Supreme models with 5 needles that go into the top of the K-Cups put coffee grounds into your cup. Fact. Single needle models just work better. The K Select has everything you need and is the best model “for the money”. You can easily find it for $100, sometimes less.

Hi just recently found your channel and really enjoying your videos especially the keurig ones. We have that old keurig compact and with the three different cup size selection. Recently its been pumping excessive amounts of water no matter what size of cup we select. I haven’t been able to find any videos that address this issue. Great, perfect video. Unfortunately, it did not fix my coffee pot. I checked all the parts, the light to brew is on and it is still not brewing. I am at a loss. I need my coffeeeeeeeee help
The Keurig K Supreme Models have a history of this problem. The unit can overheat and trip the thermostat on the inside of the machine. I made a video on how to open up your Keurig and reset the thermostat with a paperclip. But it requires you to open it up. This is a link to the video ua-cam.com/video/IdE_4NIQEro/v-deo.html If this does not fix the problem or you are not able to open it up, I would call Keurig 866-901-2739, They are aware of this problem and should replace you unit free of charge. Lot of other viewers have had this same problem during a descale the machine has to run a lot of cycles to run the solution through the machine then the rinse cycles. It is a good idea in the future to let the machine sit for 30 min before you start the rinse cycle, but you have to make sure the machine stays in descale mode or it will not turn you light out at the end of the rinse. Also some K Supreme the low water light does not come on and you might run the machine dry which can also cause the thermostat to trip. In the case of the low water light not coming on you have to stop the process and start all over, but this time you can just use water on both the first part and rinse cycle. The machine has to see the low water light come on for the logic in the descale mode to complete and turn the light off.
amazing. Somehow after I dumped the water and flipped it upside down etc... and as soon as I gave up on it after three days it magically started brewing while making my breakfast.. thank you so very much for responding and the amazing video I will save.
There is a supper easier way to hack the carafe mode and open all menu options. The insert the k cup fits in, pull it out, take the apart, (couple clips and 1 small screw) and pull the spring out. That way the peice the magnet reader is always down and opens menu
I am a coffee drinker and use k classic I decaled it brew better but after second cup it was running very slow or dripping. Do I need new one ? What should I do? Thanks for all your great reviews. Helps when searching for a new k cup.

My bright red k basic with the back reservoir has been going 5yrs now despite living in severely hard water. I have to descale often. My only wish is a hotter coffee temp.
I have a Nespresso, Keurig, and Ninja coffee bar. Love them all, but they all have their own uses. My Keurig coffee is kind of weak, so I’ll use my Nespresso for strong coffee. And the Nespresso doesn’t make a big mug of coffee so I’ll use my Ninja Coffee bar. Just depends what I’m in the mood for
You missed the OG expensive K10 mini lol. For some reason they are 389.00. I picked one up 5 bucks. Marketplace. Cleaned it ... Nothing special but built well I suppose. I have had so many keurigs. Also tassimo until it went out. The tassimo made the best cream type with frothing packs and all. But moved to Keurig I just drink back coffee Walmart donut house 3 a day. Lol. I miss my other makers Keurig some broke by son in law and one I left at Apmt.
I have a Keureg 2.0 model. I love this coffee brewer but it must have been short lived. Thank god through regular descaling it's still running strong. Can't understand why they discontinued it. I'm not thrilled with the new offerings.

If you're spending over $130 on a coffee machine, Just get a Bonavita Connoisseur or Oxo Brew 8 Cup coffee maker. They don't require any stupid pods, and they're both certified by the Specialty Coffee Associations of America. And unlike Keurig those machines can actually make good coffee. But if you want the absolute best coffee maker, just get a Technivorm Moccamaster for $300.
I've had a Kuerig 2.0 for a number of years and have gotten used to brewing 14 and 16 oz travel mugs. As near as I can tell, none of the current models will brew any cup greater than 12 oz, unless I go with a carafe. Are there any current models that brew cups greater than 12 oz at a time?
enjoyed this video review cuz with my schedule it’s just a little extra effort that i don’t have energy for to do coffee anymore using a traditional pot drip coffee.and they now have reusable k pods so i can use my own grounds. but idk with regular real world maintenance how long can a keurig last?

That coffee maker does seem to be a good choice. The Supremes' seem to have lot of issues.

The K-Supreme is great. I got mine for $99. on QVC & it came with 60 pods & the fill w/your own coffee rinsable K-Cup pod.

Great video and information. I still have the K70 which is one of the older styles with a 70oz reservoir and digital menu (got in 2011). I think it was predecessor to the K-Elite. It does 4-12oz (5 sizes) cups, temperature control, but no over ice or strong brew. I love it and will be keeping it until it stops working.
I just got the K-Express for my Birthday on the 18th. Still haven't used it yet so I can't say if I like it or not, but I have plans to use it soon so we shall see!
I got the walmart cheapo. It serves my purposes. My problem is finding 1/2 caf coffee.
I originally intended to purchase a K-Classic at Walmart, but I ended up choosing the Ultima Cosa espresso maker with an integrated grinder for just $259. Coffee bean are a lot cheaper than the K-cup.

For those looking for a combo brewer and Keurig machine, Ninja has a a few nice models. Dual Brew CFP201 is one. Love ours.

Great video! I remember getting the K-Elite 2 years ago as my first Keurig. I personally like the design of it since it fits well in my kitchen. So far, it's running great with no problems. Probably because I descale it every 3 months. Hope it lasts for another 2 or more years.

I have a standard K Duo Its fantastic basically a Keurig and the Mr. Coffee machine combined I personally don't have a problem with the bulkiness as it's much better to have one machine rather than 2

I was looking to buy my mom one of these for her birthday/xmas bc she’s a big coffee drinker and she has one of those cheap looking and simple coffee makers and i wanted to get her something a bit more customizable. I was desperately looking online for reviews bc i don’t know a thing about coffee makers, is super confusing to me since i don’t drink coffee. So after days and days of looking and comparing I think i’m gonna go for the K Duo Plus i like how you can make the single cup and the carafe!

Hearing issues with it just stopping to work and descale problems makes me nervous. @@MrSanctumus Stick with the simple express. When you find you want a little more control over you coffee then the Supremes are the way to go, more temp settings and more strengths, but yeah the supremes can have problems with descale and shutting down for sure.
I like the Keurig Classic.

I have the little red one and I add a small filter before I start it(reusable filter) and it greatly helps the taste! Sometimes if I don’t put filter in straight it backs up and comes out very messily 😅 I wish keurig made filters that fit.

I love your videos, I have the Red one k- classic had it one month stop half way when using Pod , so I put in My K Cup and it works . I called Keurig and they are sending me a New One . Oh I for got it would turn it self off half way when using the Pods weird.

I was so happy to see your video on the K Kup latte and capp maker could make a Espresso Like Shot. Do you have any other advice? Don't want to spend over $200.00, But I do love Espresso to make white chocolate mochas. K Supreme models with 5 needles that go into the top of the K-Cups put coffee grounds into your cup. Fact. Single needle models just work better.
The K Select has everything you need and is the best model “for the money”. You can easily find it for $100, sometimes less.

@@JustADad I returned a Supreme and got a K Select. 5 holes are just too many for a K-Cup’s small foil top and grounds frequently leak into your cup.

Hi just recently found your channel and really enjoying your videos especially the keurig ones. We have that old keurig compact and with the three different cup size selection. Recently its been pumping excessive amounts of water no matter what size of cup we select. I haven’t been able to find any videos that address this issue. Just wondering if you have any insight on this issue. Thanks.
Great, perfect video. Unfortunately, it did not fix my coffee pot. I checked all the parts, the light to brew is on and it is still not brewing. I am at a loss. I need my coffeeeeeeeee help
The Keurig K Supreme Models have a history of this problem. The unit can overheat and trip the thermostat on the inside of the machine. I made a video on how to open up your Keurig and reset the thermostat with a paperclip. But it requires you to open it up. This is a link to the video ua-cam.com/video/IdE_4NIQEro/v-deo.html If this does not fix the problem or you are not able to open it up, I would call Keurig 866-901-2739, They are aware of this problem and should replace you unit free of charge. Lot of other viewers have had this same problem during a descale the machine has to run a lot of cycles to run the solution through the machine then the rinse cycles. It is a good idea in the future to let the machine sit for 30 min before you start the rinse cycle, but you have to make sure the machine stays in descale mode or it will not turn you light out at the end of the rinse. Also some K Supreme the low water light does not come on and you might run the machine dry which can also cause the thermostat to trip. In the case of the low water light not coming on you have to stop the process and start all over, but this time you can just use water on both the first part and rinse cycle. The machine has to see the low water light come on for the logic in the descale mode to complete and turn the light off.

There is a supper easier way to hack the carafe mode and open all menu options. The insert the k cup fits in, pull it out, take the apart, (couple clips and 1 small screw) and pull the spring out. That way the peice the magnet reader is always down and opens menu

I have a Nespresso, Keurig, and Ninja coffee bar. Love them all, but they all have their own uses. My Keurig coffee is kind of weak, so I’ll use my Nespresso for strong coffee. And the Nespresso doesn’t make a big mug of coffee so I’ll use my Ninja Coffee bar. Just depends what I’m in the mood for

You missed the OG expensive K10 mini lol. For some reason they are 389.00. I picked one up 5 bucks. Marketplace. Cleaned it ... Nothing special but built well I suppose. I have had so many keurigs. Also tassimo until it went out. The tassimo made the best cream type with frothing packs and all. But moved to Keurig I just drink back coffee Walmart donut house 3 a day. Lol. I miss my other makers Keurig some broke by son in law and one I left at Apmt.

I have a Keureg 2.0 model. I love this coffee brewer but it must have been short lived. Thank god through regular descaling it's still running strong. Can't understand why they discontinued it. I'm not thrilled with the new offerings.

If you're spending over $130 on a coffee machine, Just get a Bonavita Connoisseur or Oxo Brew 8 Cup coffee maker. They don't require any stupid pods, and they're both certified by the Specialty Coffee Associations of America. And unlike Keurig those machines can actually make good coffee.
But if you want the absolute best coffee maker, just get a Technivorm Moccamaster for $300.

I've had a Kuerig 2.0 for a number of years and have gotten used to brewing 14 and 16 oz travel mugs. As near as I can tell, none of the current models will brew any cup greater than 12 oz, unless I go with a carafe. Are there any current models that brew cups greater than 12 oz at a time?
enjoyed this video review cuz with my schedule it’s just a little extra effort that i don’t have energy for to do coffee anymore using a traditional pot drip coffee.and they now have reusable k pods so i can use my own grounds. but idk with regular real world maintenance how long can a keurig last?
