De Norte a Sur, de Este a Oeste - Mene Majka Jednu Ima - Live at Berklee Valencia

Berklee Valencia and Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia students perform “Mene Majka Jednu Ima,” a traditional song from Bosnia-Herzegovina about an impossible love. The song was arranged by graduate students Lidia Pozo M.M. ‘23 and Mirza Redzepagic M.M.’23
De Norte a Sur, de Este a Oeste is a musical collaboration where North and South, and East and West meet-and where classical and modern musical traditions went hand-in-hand; it’s a project where students from very different backgrounds came together to celebrate the diversity of culture and music.
Through this cross-collaboration, students and faculty shaped a unique proposal to show us that music is a universal language that unites us, allows us to share and learn about the multicultural richness of other countries, and helps us understand each other.
After their concert in Valencia, students have the opportunity to travel to Madrid to share the repertoire with new audiences.
