I preferred Part 3, volume 10%.
At volume 15%, sounds become boomy.

Velodyne DD15 Plus Cabinet Size : 490 x 530 x 400 [(460+ 340)/2] = 103,880,000 mm³
(Front width 460mm, back width 340mm.)
The width at 460mm is good size to fit into with the main speakers.
The cabinet design slidely round shape, good to produce bouncing drum sounds.
Now my hifi system can produce bass sounds like a floor standing speakers.

How large is your room? If it large enough you should place one sub at the front and one at the back of your listening position

L shape room. Front width (from right to left) 14 feet. Back width (from right to left) 8 feet.
Right Lenght (from front wall to back wall) 20 feet, Left Length (from front wall to back wall) 5 feet.
What is your recomendation ?

@@HKHifi place one sub at the center of the L section (where the letter L ends if you were to write in with a pen and paper) and the other sub at the opposite side of the room, that is at the front-left corner. Your listening position should be right in between them. They both should be placed at different heights (for instance 1 feet difference). Have the front sub face the driver forward at you and the sub at the L section should be faced differently (the driver pointing to the left or diagonally). After this EQ them manually one by one. Depending of your low frequency content you should improve drastically the depth, clarity, sound stage, sense of depth, frequency response at getting rid of the peaks and dips, etc. Having multiple subs placed at the same place in the same wall it's kinda like having one single giant sub.
