- Most Hoonigan cars run low... but when your name is Hert and your preference on ride height is "slammed", some extra clearance goes a long way when shredding in your Turbo Honda K24 powered "not so simple, Super Seat Time Stallion" Nissan S13. The answer? Tubs. Made out of 80 bucks' worth of trailer fenders. You heard that right - you can make 240sx tubs out of something that's normally used for WAY more boring things. Thanks to Sergio (aka J Town fab), he custom cuts the fenders into a super clean looking solution to running a proper ride height.

Not gona lie, seeing how easy this swap is makes me want to build a kswap silcamino.
Off the shelf swap kit and custom charge piping. It’s just as easy as almost every other S13 swap out there.

Doing the tubs on the rear of my car were hard but I cant imagine trying to do the front as well. Loving the fabrication.
Why not just clock the turbo some more to get more space for the piping
Got a feeling it’s because they’d already made the intercooler piping with the original inner wings in place and not thought ahead to the tub party. Easier to notch the tub now than clock the turbo and totally redo the intercooler plumbing.

Tubs look great! How come you didn’t clock the turbo compressor housing a little more counter clockwise so you wouldn’t have to notch the tub for I/C piping? Might’ve saved a lot of time that way.

If you spray paint gold and then get a mild candy gold spray paint + one hwiff of lacquer, then gold will pop so much harder than anything short of actual gold leafing. The lacquer is just for protection, so it's optional. Any car touch up shop for diy-ers will have the ability to make the candy gold (which can be any color in the spectrum, doesn't need to be gold, can even be a light red orange for a special pop) spray paint.

Great build! I think there is a point to be made about turbo 4cylinder drift cars.
I mean yes, the incredible power figures are somewhat out of reach, but there are so many 4 cylinders with great potential that you can get very cheap.
Like for example the VW EA 888 engine, those are everywhere here in europe and they are good for some 400hp.

Careful with that Koyorad, mine started seeping from inside the coils at about 20 months, and their warranty is 18 months...
