That place was my childhood basically. Going for my birthday, in the summer holidays etc it's sad it closed down and that it Is in such a state now. I can still feel the excitement i had as a child of walking through the gates and then hearing the tinkaboo factory music and smelling the sweets and other food. I still have a poster from the sea lion show in my room somewhere.
This is right near me and its so sad to see how it is and knowing some kids in the family won't ever get the chance to go to this place. This was what you looked forward to in the 6 weeks holidays and collecting the half price tokens out of the paper. Surely they've got to do something with this land, not build houses but put something that will actually attract more visitors and give the resort some life, there's not a lot to do now this has gone.
@Exclusive Acid Its just been abandoned they've not said whether they're going to do anything as of yet, there's been rumours of things going there but nothings been confirmed.
I use to love the tinkaboo water ride just because it was creepy as hell and use to scare my friend on it makes me sad seeing that as I use to live in Barnetby and I’m from Skegness
I went to explore this when I went to haven , there’s an easier entrance round by gate a near the trees, you can get out of the main gate aswell I just had to run because the other entrance is round the back

Both built by the same manufacterer... Vekoma! This Boomerang has left the UK... but the Gravitron lives on and you can still ride at at Barry Island Pleasure Park in South Wales
Shit I must be too old. It was a zoo when I was a kid. Giraffes, lions elephants the lot.. being towed round by the dolphin was a memory for my sister and I. Then a kids play park for a while, Then the cleethorpes stadium for banger racing etc. And if I remember right the light railway went past at the end, all the way to the fitties.. but I am an old git now...

The tinkaboo ride has a metel door and a smashed up door and only wood is in there now ☹️
