Hi John. Thanks for the videos. I got 4 route list for Glen burnie from a driving school. I guess the routes u videoed are part of it. It might be helpful to others, also if u want to video them as well Here are the routes- Route 1 Leave MVA, turn left onto Ritchie Highway, Turn right onto Ordinance Rd, Turn left onto Furnace Branch Rd, Turn left onto Crain Highway, Turn left onto Ritchie Highway, Return to MVA. Route 2. Leave MVA, turn left onto Ritchie Highway, Turn right on Vernon/Welham Avenue, Turn left onto Furnace Branch Rd, Turn left onto Crain Highway, Turn left onto Ritchie Highway, Return to MVA. Route 3 Leave MVA, turn left onto Ritchie Highway, Turn right onto 8th Avenue, Turn right onto Crain Highway, Turn left onto Ritchie Highway, Return to MVA. Route 4 Leave MVA, turn left onto Ritchie Highway, Turn left onto 8th Avenue, Left onto Ritchie Highway (U-turn), return to MVA
I passed my test this morning , i can’t tell you how many times I watched your videos over and over !! None of my routes are on here but it was a combo of route 3 and 4.
i took my test on September 16th and i passed perfectly these two route videos definitely helped me alot and i will tell you what i did. first the day before the test my mom and i pulled up the 2 route videos on the ipad while i drove she told me where to turn(going from the video). i did the for both routes about 5 times each. the day of the test i did both routes again before i went to test this made me more comfortable with the coarse but when it was time for me to take the test the instructor kinda combined both routes into 1 but i didnt panic because i knew both routes. i hope this really helps some of you
You’re a life saver. I’m going to Glen Burnie after I waited an hour and a half in line to just fail on my reverse parking in Beltsville . Lol i’ve been having huge butterflies and my stomach has been turning at the thought of taking the test tomorrow . These videos are helping to put me more at ease.
This was the route I went on! I watched this a few times before my test. Needless to say, I passed my first time despite being extremely nervous :)) Thanks a bunch
Jake Miller there was a comment on one of these videos that said someone who works for the MVA told them that there are only two routes they use now, and that this route was one of them. I watched this one the most naturally and it just happened to be my route. I'm sure if there is a second route it's probably similar!
+John I passed , thanks bro. But they took me on a whole different route but this still kinda helped you should actually do a full time career on UA-cam with tips & stuff just saying, cause your vids help
Hi John, Thank you very much! Today I passed the road test. My test road had little differents with the third road that you show to us. My test road is: Leave from MVA, Turn left to Ritchie Hwy and then turn right to Wellham Ave, and turn right to Furnace Branch road, and turn right to W Ordnance Rd and turn left to Ritchie Hway and go back to MVA. There are two stop signs in this test way. Note, at the end, go back to MVA, not as your movie, it should turn right to MVA near orchard road, there is a blue arrow sign to MVA.
Been watching all these videos for a week and taking my test tomorrow! If I don't past, it would either be because I was too nervous and made a dumb mistake, or something was mentally off with the instructor!
John Haha hey I passed!! Instructor said I was the best student all day!! Thanks so much for these videos cause I actually ended up doing one of these routes exactly!!
Feyi Oreagba Know the area. Drive around in advance. Look for and understand the signs (especially speed limit) since you will be asked. Take your time - don't be in a rush to pull into traffic or merge. Stay in your lane when making the left at the double turn lane exiting the MVA.
I failed by this route. Apparently I was driving too slow I was going 30 when I should've been going 35 & 25 when i should've been going 30 because 30 & 35 was the posted speed limits. I didn't even find out I failed until we were about to be back at Richie Hwy.
+Leighla D Sorry, I don't have the route. I will be happy to film it if someone provides the route. Maybe you could ask for the route on Facebook, reddit, etc?
Yes, the videos are edited (~50% speed increase). I also deleted the dead time at red lights. Actual road course should take about 12 minutes for Glen Burnie depending on the route.
Watching these won't actually help you, they'll sometimes go on a route similar to one of these, but then tell you go a different way. You're better off just learning to drive than memorizing the routes. Also, make sure you stop before the white line at a stop sign, even if the fucking piece of shit sign is way past it.
For people that are curious about the pass rate for each MVA location: ua-cam.com/video/VxvbQhuIcbw/v-deo.html
Good luck!
Did this course today & passed thanks for the videos they definitely helped!

+THE CAPTAINx Thank you
+THE CAPTAINx You mentioned it was a mix of the two. Do you happen to recall your route?
+John the two routes were kinda combined like we started route 1 then idk about half way through it she made me turn somewhere then we were on route 2
For the 2 point turn, did you back in from the left or from the right?
+King Julian the part where i needed to park was on my right so i had to drive past it and back up turning the car to the car

As far as the Glen Burnie route goes what are some key things I should make sure I know ?
Feyi Oreagba Know the area. Drive around in advance. Look for and understand the signs (especially speed limit) since you will be asked. Take your time - don't be in a rush to pull into traffic or merge. Stay in your lane when making the left at the double turn lane exiting the MVA.

Sorry about that. I'm surprised you could be failed for driving 5 MPH under the speed limit...
That’s odd since 1-5 miles under the speed limit is okay but 10 miles under is not
what else will they ask in for questions?
Added a MVA vehicle checklist video (make sure to cover the simple stuff):

Can you make one for the Essex driving test route please?
Dolores Nj I don't know the route. I will film it if anyone can provide the route.
Okay. Thank you!
Dolores Nj If you take it, please send me the route. BTW, watching the other videos I have posted gives you a general ideal for the test.
hi! Can you please please pleaseeee do the route for Easton, MD location?
+Leighla D Sorry, I don't have the route. I will be happy to film it if someone provides the route. Maybe you could ask for the route on Facebook, reddit, etc?
I just passed at Glen Burnie, it was a similar route
Congrats!
John thank you
are these videos speed up or the route is really on roughly 5 minutes give or take
Yes, the videos are edited (~50% speed increase). I also deleted the dead time at red lights. Actual road course should take about 12 minutes for Glen Burnie depending on the route.
ok thanks
Added a two point turn video which will help with the test:
