Hi! So I have a question. When you did your exam today, after the sign that says “Stop here on red” when you turned right, you drove close to the double yellow lines at the left or closer to the right?
They failed me today for the second time , I’m so hurt and broken this African guy like I completed the test perfectly and he said my car ride the curve so he had to fail me
@aneishasavoury6583 Oh, I'm sorry, that's so unfortunate 😕 At least you completed the test perfectly, and you just need to be more careful about the curves next time.
Can anyone please confirm if your test was exact like this video. I failed my test today in Gaithersburg, and my instructor was so mean. Don't ever go there for your driver's test.
Sorry to hear you failed the test. I've also heard the examiners at Gaithersburg are strict and less friendly. I'm pretty sure this route is still the exact test route and comments on this video can confirm it too. The examiners at White Oak are better in my opinion. Good luck with your test! 🤞 Let us know how it goes!
@@Ariyan_MD it turned out to be in Belleville and the car got disqualified by my examiner because apparently the speedometer wasn’t working even though someone had passed the test with thesame car a few hours before I took it,the needle was moving but it was at zero,we were going to slow for the needle to go above zero but the examiner insisted on disqualifying the car, just bad luck for me I guess🤷♂️
@@harriswone4215Oh, that's so unfortunate! 😕 But don't worry, you'll pass the next time for sure! If you can, consider taking the test at MVA White Oak because the test route is very simple and its examiners seem to be better and less strict.
@@Ariyan_MD my instructor is the one in charge of picking the location, apparently he picks the location based on availability,my next attempt is at Largo,if you have any information on the environment at largo it would be helpful
I'm taking my test this tuesday! I feel prepared and I think my instructor has taught me this route well. Thanks a lot for this awesome video! Also, in the closed course, will I need to forward park as well or only do the two-point turnabout?
Glad that you found the video helpful! In the closed course, you only do a two-point turnabout and there is no forward parking. The only forward parking is at the very end of the test (after you come back from the public road to the MVA) where you just need to park in any available spot and avoid hitting the bollard. Watch it at 6:02 . It's great that you feel prepared! Good luck with the test! Let us know how the test went!
Are you're talking about 1:26? If yes, then here's the situation: If the light is green, you can turn right without stopping or anything. If the light is red, you first make a complete stop behind that white line, then you can turn right. That's what my driving instructor told me before the test, but when I took the test the light was green so I didn't need to care about this sign. Did they fail you for stopping or not stopping?
thank you so much! for the test do you just have to back in or do you have to pull in also/do a 3 point turn? are you only going to use one of the two cone areas or both of them?
Thanks for your comment! You have to do a so-called reverse two-point turnabout. That's basically driving past the cone area, coming to a complete stop, and then backing into the cone area without hitting the cones. You'll need to do this maneuver in only one of those two cone areas and the examiner will choose which one. You'll have 3 minutes to complete this maneuver. Good luck!
hi, quick question, at 1:33, when you turn right, do you go to the far right of the road, or do you turn closer to the left?? My driver instructor took me on this route, and she told me I had to go into the left lane because the right was a bus lane. My test is today, and i'm super nervous
I'm pretty sure there's no bus lane on that road. That part of the road is just one lane so it doesn't matter if you're close to the right side of the road or to the double yellow center line. When you get to the end of the road at 2:09, have to be on the right lane and turn right.
@@undefinedchannel9916hi! the test went super well. i was so nervous but it’s super simple and easy route. all they’ll ask you to do is reverse park and go on the route and then front face park at the end! i got an instructor named saul and he was super sweet which made it go easy. just don’t stress out abt it too much, you got it!! good luck 🎉

@@sir_zzzzz7127 When I did it, I did it in one go, but I remember my driving instructor told me that I could readjust the car if I felt like it was hitting a cone. You can actually go back to where you stop the car to start backing and redo it if you feel like it's needed. The thing is you only have 3 minutes for the entire maneuver so you should quickly readjust yourself. Good luck!

@MedtekJoyceeee You have to both use your mirrors and turn your head to check your blind spots when changing lane. Most of the examiners deduct points or even fail you if you don't do head checks.
Yes, they do. They check your signals, break lights, horn, hazard lights, windshield wipers (if it's raining), and the overall situation of the car to make sure it's safe to start the driving.
@@Ariyan_MD What's the point of doing it then honestly kinda lol..... I'm a rule-following person autistic but for all that hassle to get all those hours that doesn't really make sense though lol

A question how many attempts I have to do the driving test is that I don't pass the first test 😭😭 and I want to know if I can make several attempts if I don't pass like this
You can take the driving test infinite times, but the rule is: If you don't pass the test the first time, you can retake the test the day after it. If you don't pass the test for the second time, then you have to wait at least one week to take it again. The same one-week rule applies to all the subsequent tests after the second failed test as well (for example if you don't pass the test on your 3rd attempt, you have to wait one week to do your 4th attempt). Hope you pass the test on your first attempt! 🤞
Congrats on passing the test👏 🎉 Honestly, all branches have both laid-back and rude examiners. If you're lucky, you get the good ones lol But I've heard White Oak examiners are better than Gaithersburg though
They always ask questions about the traffic signs on the route. Some examiners sometimes ask more questions about the traffic laws, but most of them don't.
It depends on how old you are. If you're under 18, you have to hold the permit for 9 months. If you're 18 and have a high school diploma, you have to hold the permit for 3 months (9 months if you don't have a diploma). If you're 19-24, you have to hold the permit for 3 months.
