A number of people have commented about how stupid I am to have taken a moving truck into the mountains. I get it. I should have further explained the circumstances which was that (A) snow wasn't in the forecast but then happened, (B) this was the last weekend possible in which to make this specific move, and (C) Home Depot was the only option I had for a moving truck. As a result, my apologies if my attitude came through in the video but it was a frustrating personal experience for many reasons that don't need to be discussed. Nevertheless, for those watching, I simply was trying to convey that The Home Depot moving trucks are a better choice to me for short-length moving experiences. Also, I'd like to say it's pretty remarkable how many people feel the need to defend a multi-billion dollar company rather than the individual consumer's experience in UA-cam comments.
The Home Depot website provides all the information on their offerings and dimensions of their rentals. You will need to call your local Home Depot to understand their availability. Thanks! www.homedepot.com/c/truck_rental
The box truck I rented only seated 2 people as it was individual large driver and passenger seats not one long row. I would call your local Home Depot where you plan on renting to understand what box trucks/seating arrangements they offer.
I don't believe it would based off the truck I rented. However, you should call your local Home Depot where you plan to rent to understand what their box truck rental options even are. For what you're requesting, I'd actually just see what U-Haul, Penske, etc. may have available. Thanks for watching.
wow, really blame a company for your lack of paying attention to weather and possible conditions that may arise while you have it, renting those vehicles is a convenience, and no moving truck is made for the mountains with snow
It goes to the daily rate. Unlimited mileage. Here's the website. Prices just depend upon what kind of vehicle you are renting. Thanks for watching! www.homedepot.com/c/Truck_Rental
@@SumukhComedy Ugh! The daily rate would be double the delivery fee. If I get stuck in traffic on the highway for 20 minutes one way, then I'm screwed. I'll do U-Haul, and it'll take an extra hour probably. You made me laugh when you said you don't want to rent a truck again, ever. I get that.
I couldn't recall now but, yes, according to the website, a $150 deposit has to be put down on it and your final rates will be figured out once you return the truck/van.
Thanks for the video , but had a whole lot of talk with very little useful info. We get it that THE Home Depot is not a rental truck company , you didn't need to say that like about a million times and would have liked to know more about the specific pros and specific cons like what about insurance questions. Sorry to rag on you but I wish people would put more thought into making these types of videos.
when renting the trucks, you need to provide valid proof of insurance, valid drivers license, he is right about unlimited millage, they only thing that is required is that you top the tank back off before returning it, 12 ft moving is able to be reserved online, but if someone has it rented out already you cannot reserve it, flatbed trucks are first come first serve

hay thanks so much. great point about customer service not knowing fully about the renting aspect.

I am in Florida water and heat lol only no snow 🙃
Hello, what are the dimensions of the truck?

Does the Home Depot box truck seat 2 or 3 people?

Do you think the ramp on it would be big enough to get a lawn tractor up? Nothing on their site says anything.

Learn to drive in the snow
Do I have to pay 150$ first just to rent it

You rent a moving
truck and take it to mountain snow roads, and blame them for your lack of consideration. Perfect
