I hope so.. if it had 650 hp it would be a dream car but it’s not been a speed demon.. it’s a track car with about 350hp.. you can add some wing to it for more downforce to get more speed.. but really?

It's way too expensive! Would be a true Supercar Killer at 200k... Also it's not a Ferrari or Mclaren and still called X-Bow which was more like a Fun car... Honestly, the transformation from the original X-Bow to this proper looking Race car is amazing, but what is the Advantage when it costs nearly as much as a real Supercar?

Agreed, KTM should focus on making affordable sports car so that more people can realise their dream of having a sports car. KTM should price their keep in mind that it can reach upto mass customers.
That is FRIKKKING INSANE. 🥰🥰🥰 I've bled orange since I tested the 2002 KTM motocross lineup up the request of North East Regional Manager Dad Salamone for a big review in MX East, the regional moto paper that Racer X voted as THE BEST of the regional mags. After riding John Dowd's Factory 250SX I was STUNNED that a 250cc bike could pull a 3rd gear start like my old KX500s. 👀😲🤯😱 I became the proud owner of a 2003 KTM 250SX in short order. That bike really was a GP clone that packed 58 HP at the crank and 50 at the rear wheel. To put it in perspective that bike was faster than KTM's own 450 of that year which was not a slow motorcycle. Imagine whipping down the fastest straight on your local motocross track when suddenly in fourth gear the bike pulls a massive wheelie and tries to chuck you off the back, THAT'S the kind of horsepower the 2003 250SX rocked. Within a year I figured out what to do to calm down this "125 on crazy steroids." Regina chain with o-rings which added a little weight, 6 oz steely flywheel which again calmed it down just a smidge just enough to allow it to hook up and lower the gearing to get the bike into third gear sooner. Pro circuit pipe and FMF silencer is just like what McGrath did. I believe that bike could pull the hole shot today against 450s. You know anyone who owns that year KTM 250 they will tell you she's as aggressive as an MMA fighter who moonlights as a serial killer, LOL. The brand new 250SX's are much better motorcycles more because the handling and suspension have caught up to the amount of power the bike is capable of making, but I would put my bike as it is in a drag race against any modern 250 two or four strokes. This KTM automobile started life is basically a rich guys overgrown go-kart and I figured it was just a matter of time till they put skin on it and got very serious about four wheels. THIS car is now my dream car, and one day I will be able to afford it. Better get some good radar detectors and such cause as graduate of the AMG Mercedes racing schools I can be a menace in the Toyota Corolla I use as a driving instructor let alone something like this beast. Yes I do have hopes of racing cars one day and at 61 I still have the crazies that I thought would have left me in my thirties or 40s after I finish racing motocross. NOPE, it's still there and now that I figured out much more, but not all -need track time for that- of the Dynamics of four wheels, I've set new goals and new pastures to cross. KTM on my mind without a doubt is THE best motorcycle company out there as far as the quality of the products. I would stand on the top of the highest mountain and shout to everybody the quality of the KTM is the same as a Mercedes E55 AMG I used to have and the C300 Sport that I recently lost in the floods that took New York by surprise. They ARE ready to race and they're built to last...more than a season or two. Honestly KTM I was shocked @ the price point. I mean, I was thinking 90k or so type of track toy. Now I realize this is just a baby Valkyrie. I srsly would consider this if the GT3 wasn’t out. HP is perfect too.
Looks cool. But at nearly 300k, there are MANY other options out there that entirely supersede this. Many offerings from Lamborghini, McLaren, Ferrari, and Porsche.
@@4paapii so, a question for you guys. When this car has problems, who do you take it to? The KTM dealer? All of the ones around me (very few), just sell dirt bikes. I'm sure they are not equipped nor trained to handle a car.
This is awesome, everything the Lotus Exige wanted to be, but 5x the cost, ugh. At this price I'd expect a NA Hartley V8 and a manual option at a minimum, not a turbo. It looks great, will drive great, will be quick and direct, but reduce the price and put in a more purist drivetrain. And reduce the price. Until then, the Palatov D2 is a WAY better option.
It seems #KTM knew how to build serious Supercar. I guess it's better for them to start expanding their expertise in Road Legal Gt cars that would challenge Porsche, Lambo, Ferrari & Mercedes. Full trust to Pierer Mobilty AG. 💪
