Has anyone had Bosch failures? I got a set from rockauto and im having 1 of them arcing to the plug intermittently. Gonna replace it but using dielectric grease has seemed to fix it for now.

It still is. Regular oil changes and these coils help this thing run like mint!
Does anyone know if I need to have a tune to get r8 coil packs on my mk5 gti , bevause I have a stock engine at the moment
Shouldn't have to but these help the engine run better when you do get a tune.
can i put the coils on to my GTI without changing anything?

You're welcome! I will say APR makes coil packs that are supposedly better than R8 coils ("10% more energy output") and cost roughly the same. I plan on testing them soon when I change plugs but wanted to let you know all the options that are out there.

Where can we get these
I picked mine up from Modded Euros here: www.moddedeuros.com/products/oem-ignition-coil-06e905115e
They have other options as well, such as a CTS brand R8 coil.
Do you need a tune for this?
No you don’t, but these coils help when you do have a tune.
