This was awesome. I'd love to see more of the minds and engineers behind these boards. How a snowboard's shape and construction changes the way it rides is very interesting to hear. It would be a treat to understand why decisions were made.

Cool quiver! Would have loved to hear about the Standard Uninc too.
I bought the Warca last year and it's my favorite board I have ever owned. The perfect amalgamation of freestyle, powder and groomer performance. My only issue is that the top sheet seems a bit prone to chipping.

I love the chakras of last years board but I strongly prefer this years graphic with the whales, turtles, and golden ratio. It fits better with my vibe too over the meditation nature theme of the previous. Cant go wrong with this years
PYL is one of my top 3 boards, hands down. 👍🏼
cannot wait to ride this board!...I'm 6' 187lbs, boots 10.5...I'm leaning toward 157, but maybe 159 is the way to go...I ride mostly groomers...which size should I go with?...thx!
Sounds like the 57 is the one - if you were here in the Kootenays it would be the 159 all day!
Love the reviews. For an advanced daily driver in Colorado, what would you pick between the Pyzel and the PYL?
Please ask him to sell a split version of the PYL! The only reason I switched to jones is because I like to run the same solid and split.
I have been riding my Ride timeless 159 2002 for ever and think its time for a change. I like the sound of the YES PYL Unlnc and thinking of pairing it with Union Force 2024. Does this sound like a good combination? I am unsure if I should get a 159 or down to a 157? I am 5'10, 80kg size 9 boots. I am also 50 this year and hanging on in there! Any advice would be great, thanks guys.

The comments and what I read, it seems to be the perfect board for me, but I hate designs for winter, which comes from surfing. Does anybody eles agree?
I fully agree. I thought it is the perfect board for me, but can't go with this summer surfing design. Even I like it for summer.
Yooooo thanks so much for this interview and breakdown. DCP is the man. Ive been riding a 2020 PYL 160W and have loved every second, but now it's time to replace the board. I'm 6'3 180 with a size 12 boot. Which size PYL DCP should I scoop as a resort rider who chases as many freeride lines as possible??
With a size 12 we want to keep you on the Wide boards - 160W is the ticket!

The 161 has a waist width of 263 which might be slightly narrow , I’m a 12 as well and I find 264 to be drag free minimum. I’m stuck between this board and a never summer proto fr 161w .
@@tributeboardshopany additional thoughts on PYL DCP sizing for me with size 12 boots (180 weight, 6’3 height)? Should I be looking at the hybrid or regular PYL instead?
@@Scliff I'd go for Hybrid - it's a bit wider than PYL but has the same Underbite. And it's got more directional taste )

Sweet video! I'm 215lb w/ a size 11.5 boot and coming off a 2018 flagship in 165W. Loving what I'm hearing about the PYL Uninc, but is the 161 gonna be big enough? Freeriding/pow chasing in whistler. THanks!
The Short answer is YES ! - That size will handle your Foot Size and Power , and will be perfect when the conditions are not optimal !

I’m 5’9 and 200-205 lbs. I bought the pyl dcp uninc in the 155 as it’s wider and is somewhat volume shifted but thinking i should have gone to 157 or 159 given my weight (which is before gear). I’m a mix between powder and tree runs but also some groomers. Is the 155 too short to support me in powder? Should I return and size up?

Wider than regular Pyl is what he meant. Pyl uninc 2024 is the same as last years, i own the 2024.

With your weight, which is less than DCP 170, and me 160 I would be leaning 155. He rides 155 in BC and he repeatedly recommends sizing down. 155 is the one I own and it feels like a much bigger board. Hope it helps. But the guys owning this channel can surely give u better advice.
