Nice! I spent some time on the Cherohala Skyway but we never made it to the Tail. There is also great trail riding to be done in that area. The roads there are much better than most of what we've got in SE Michigan

I was just up there a couple of weekends ago and it was a blast, I like how you ride your ride, You didn't try to keep up with the guy in front and you probably won't feel pushed from anyone behind you, I was always told on the street to ride at 70% of your skill and 70% of your suspension and tire setup, That way when the unexpected happens you have something to draw on.

Brad, I know a spot that has a trail, some jumps and lots of people bring there off road things over there. No police are over there either ;) Go down Tuttle hill, turn onto White Wing, take a left and go straight until you see a big hill and behind the hill is trail also. Trust me you'll love it

Cool vid, if you wanna go faster down there you gotta run way deep into the turns. If you're taking a left for example run all the way out to the white line before turning in. It would keep you well away from the oncoming lane too.

I have curvy road phobia. Is that a thing? The thought of low siding into an oncoming car/bike on those inside turns, having someone do the same to you on the outside corners or low siding off the top of those cliffs/ridges. *shivers* Great riding BeRad. Your buddy was waay fast.

Supermoto are the best to ride on these type of twisties. Hope you get the chance to try riding the Dragon with a big 900lb touring bike especially with all that weight on the forks just to feel the difference.

Tail of the Dragon is a very popular road to ride, people travel across the US to ride it, like Mr.BeRad did
Its much more popular during the weekend which i can garuntee this wasnt filmed during it.
If I start riding a motorbike do I have to be really confident in myself that I won't crash or does being able to ride without hesitant come in time?
depends if you're naturally cocky or not
+Slothsy If you have to question the idea of if you should ride or not then I don't think you should. Also you WILL crash. Anyone that says that they never have or never will are liars. Unless your some 70 year old guy that takes his bike out once every blue moon. Crashing is apart of the game and you will never become a better rider without pushing yourself and most of the times that results in crashing, you just have to be ready and mature enough for it to happen.
+Andrew Ackley I will be confident on it, I have yet to start riding one and when I do I'll have a week's practice after my CBT before I go on the road just to make sure I have control over the bike, especially on roads with bad traffic
