- New Port Richey car show March 2024, it was quite a turnout.... this guy had this slammed homemade Rat Rod with straight headers. We were having Lunch and when he lit up that small block the place shook...

I'm seriously thinking about building a rat rod with enough ground clearance to actually be drivable. I have most of the parts. It's just a matter of assembly and some minor fabrication.
They are cool, dig on the creativity you see out there. This one was slammed !! but he had a very small lift that must have been hydraulic ..... he hit and it came up maybe 2" .. crazy but Cool !! and it sounded rad with those straight headers.
@@mikeq5664 To me, any vehicle, no matter what it looks like, must be drivable. Many brand new vehicles are being made that cannot be driven on a normal road, because they are so low, and have no real tires. I certainly would never build something like that. I'm thinking something with at least 6 inches of ground clearance.
