I was at a car show watching some import tuners rev up their cars' 4-cylinder engines. I didn't expect what happened next. - Авто та транспорт

Of course. Hot rod guys aren't aholes. They respect what other people drive. He just wanted to join in the fun. I've seen some tuner/ ricer car drivers and owners be complete aholes toward other drivers.

@@liamcooper5202 I have a full length thunderheader on my evo motor and I've sent off a ton of alarms without intention. It sounds really cool at idle but it gets really old really fast when your just trying to cruise with friends and nobody wants to ride behind you. Lol

@@totophi4 bangers can sound incredible if done right with good aftermarket parts or properly fabricated ones. Most of the 4 bangers that show up to these kinds of meets are the straight piped riced out ones unfortunately but imo nothing sounds better than a K20 with a proper exhaust setup

I have the same problem with my Z71 4x4 going thru parking garages lol. it sets off alarms mainly because it give a deeper rumble. this guy has to have a mild to radical cam. wish mine sounded like that lol

Im 69 now...grew up in the Muscle car / Hot Rod era.
Cars..friday nights out draggin' main..going to the prom.. Wolfman Jack DJ'ing on the AM dial.. out lookin' for girls and girls out lookin' for boys..hot cars...maltshops with car hops...letter jackets...homecoming..it was quite a moment in time.
The movie 'American Graffiti' portrayed not just the cars of those days really well but it captured the atmosphere of what those times were like exceptionally well. They nailed it.
Milner and his '32' Ford perfectly captured the essence of cool.
Fun days..never to be repeated..but this gorgeous old purple rod is still stealin' the show! Thanx for the memory.
Born many years after the glory years of the muscle car era, but as best I can tell it seems like the squares depicted in The Hollywood Knights finally won. No fun allowed any more right? Hope you had enough fun for all us young guys, since we can't enjoy it.

That V8 is spectacular. You can hear the engine resonate through the headers even after he lets off the throttle! Always cool to see an engine someone built themselves. I get that there are fast four cylinders, but speed is a totally different subject from what this vid is about. The sound of those four bangers will never, not ever, compare to a V8. The throaty roar, the resonance through the headers, the deep growl at idle... it’s awesome!! Who in their right mind would want to hear wing-ding-ding-ding over that?!
Best part about this whole thing? Based on the headers, that’s a Small Block Chevy, that’s not even a big block.
I love how the first rev was basically clearing the headers of soot, and then just *respectful engine silence* when the bear goes back into his cave.
I don't hate tuners. some of them are fast. I can't however respect any four cylinder that has an stupid resonating fart can on the back. sounds like shit and is almost never fast

tuners in general are slow get it right i can beat any tuner with a super charger with my ls1 truck no modifications if you want something fast get a damn camaro or a charger no a pos import that will always need work done on it and cant drag a single american car down road

So basically if your assuming by thier engine size = small d size, then your just compensating for your own which is on a molecular scale.
Not long ago, I took my 68 charger out for a cruise, which has a fairly strong built 440 engine, during which time I romped it pretty hard a few times. It was due for a service the next day, during which I scraped what looked like a couple of Hondas and Nissan's out of my air filter.
If you've never experienced the rumble of a V8 without mufflers, then you probably cannot understand how insanely loud they are.
Those nearby spectators will be rubbing their ears for the next 20 minutes

HΔNNIBΔL not at all. Newer cars have better camshafts. Older cars like that ford there with the small block have terrible cam grinds. Huge lift and duration, little vacuum like a legit race engine. Supras also don’t whine. They have turbos not hulking 6-v71 blowers on them. But nice try.

FYI the 28-29 Ford is a national treasure of Puerto Rico the old fire truck in Ponce.
@@agcacustoms2852 28-29 model a have a narrow cowl. The 30-31 a's have a cowl that's even with the rest of the body.
@@agcacustoms2852 a very effective way to differentiate whether it's a Model A or a '32 is to look for the visor. Closed car Model A's came with those visors while a '32 never had them. There's also the less effective way of looking on the top of the cowl. Model A's had the gas tank in the cowl so there's usually a gas cap there while a '32 had a vent for air on top of the cowl. Just a couple helpful hints.

***** ive got a 77 chevy truck with a 400 small block and full time four. yes it very much is about SPG! that thing gets 8 mpg. 70 miles = one tank.
putting a 4 speed standard and part time in it from a parts truck i bought for 500 bucks....that behind a 400 is gonna be fun! 3rd gear starts anyone? its also a 77 chevy heavy half ton. just HAD to buy it. stupid not too because..... free parts worth more than 500 bucks, plus im selling the engine for 500 and the body and frame for 300.
anyway.... the trucks actually kinda fast for a 6000 pound thing. 265 hp at 4500 and 440 foot pounds from 1800 rpm up to 5500. its fucking fun dude!
thows figures are SAE NET! with AC!. and with a 2 barrel! i put on different heads from a 350 race car because i cracked both my 400 smog heads.... dont ask how! lol. drilled steam holes in the heads and put on a bit better exhaust, cleaned up the boogers in the intake and had an old, like 80, gear head racer rebuild my carb and do some tricks to the old Q jet.
when you jump in and start it.... crank crank crank ROOMMM!!!! ................... pop, pop, pop, pop. just makes me smile every time. even does that in -35 F montana weather.
oh... and ive got a 68 impala with a different 400. it beat a 2008 impala with a stock NA 3.8 v6 in the quarter.... but its got BAD shocks and brakes.... 4 wheel drum!... so its not quite safe to drive. i still drive it sometimes however.
