If I had to choose what hits the concrete, between my yoyos or my balisongs. I would build a cannon to blow my yoyo into the concrete rather than drop my balisongs.

You guys should make some tutorials for more advanced binds. If you do that than people who are becoming intermediate can spice up there tricks and also I need some tips for the outer flair bind.

When you are doing the dismount for the trick it is IMPERATIVE that you have the yoyo as front as possible. If it is close to your body you will hurt yourself in the wrong places

Great video! I've been practicing this trick for awhile, and I can do it with the simple mount, but the dismount is usually what gets me. It seems like the yoyo doesn't have enough momentum swinging off the dismount to snap back to my hand. Any advice?

When the Velocity is in Pro Mode it is not supposed to come back without a bind. If you want it to return by just pulling it up, you need to dial in the dials a little.

I've found that basics are pretty much always something people should practice. The better your basics are, the easier it should be to get more advanced tricks down. At least that's the case with the guitar, and I imagine it's the same with the yoyo.
Petter Eriksson yeah but these tricks are like....basic! It's the most simpelist mount and then spin it round your fingers lol, I'll be honest though, I have not mastered the whole ladder, not evem close, instead I try to make my own tricks and mounts, but vote always turns out as a double or nothing or kamikaze mount lol
I'm no master at the yoyo either, having only been doing it for two weeks lol. Truth be told, I'm taking a lot of experience from learning martial arts and playing the guitar. In martial arts (at least the one I've been doing, Bujinkan) a black belt is proof that you know the basics of all the techniques you'll need to learn the advanced stuff and in my 10 years of playing guitar, I've noticed that the fundamental basics are responsible for a majority of how good you'll be at the advanced stuff. People doing 8 finger tapping, sweep picking, playing fast, it's all down to accuracy, timing and practicing your basics. Sort of like building a house, if your foundation isn't rocksolid, you're going to have a very bad time.
True that, I'm also a fellow musician :D but I produce on computer with a keyboard :) but trust me, when you get the basics down in yoyo you get it down! It becomes second nature like most things you practice a lot at. I can hit a trapeze with my eyes closed, it's all in the technique, I could probabaly hit a double or nothing with my eyes closed but I can't say I've ever tried lol
Awesome :D Been trying to get some keyboard action going, but goddamn it's hard. Trapeze are going decently well for me, never tried double or nothing, or one and a half mount though. Truth be told, I'm kinda using the ladder as a bit of a gateway to see what tricks to learn next.

I got it now I had the finger set for a brain twister I realized that I had to focus wrapping around the finger WHICH seemed to work.
Same here when I try bringing my hands together on the faster way to do the mount it just jolts up to my hand
That usually means you are getting some slack in the string as you do the trick.

i’m using a fizz yo-yo, and it’s soon dies super fast on the brain twister, even when the yo-yo is perfectly straight
Think I need a right yoyo for this one...mine is won't sleep more than 5 sec and very unstable, though I still can do a simple string tricks :3
I have a "fizz" yo yo and everytime I put the yoyo on string, the string automatically winds up. Can I do this kind of trick with the "fizz" or do I need another yoyo on order to do this? Am I doing something wrong?

When I mount my Yo-Yo and pull the other string up and get ready to do the trick, it creates like, friction and slows my spin down very quickly. Is this my Yo-Yo or my throw?

Most likely the yoyo is a little crooked on the string which causes the spin to die. We talk about how to solve that in this video.

There are different styles of yoyoing, and you do need yoyos for the different styles. There are also some tricks that can only be done with certain yoyos, but in general most tricks can be done with any of the yoyos we sell. I’ve been trying to learn this trick for a week with no success ;-; I just put the string under because I don’t trust myself to mount it with no tilt, but even so the yoyo loses all its spin very quickly. Any tips on how to spin it in line with the axis?

My guess is that a little more practice will solve it, but if not I would just use the method where you lift up the string to get the yoyo into the mount.

Is the sage need to be lube with thick lube to be responsive ? I use thin lube on the default bearing and It's now pretty unresponsive, I think.

The trapeze is spooling my string
My yoyo kept dying the moment it land on the string everytime I do the faster frontmount. Is this my fault or the yoyo's?
when my yoyo(the fizz) gets on the string it just immediately comes back and in a way i have to re-wind it any tips to avoid this?
I just started and have a fizz. But whenever I try the forward mount it comes up and hits my hand. Do I need a new yo-yo like the one or am I just doing it wrong? Also my fizz doesn't sleep for very long, is this normal?
How long is it sleeping? Also, the Fizz is designed so that you can loosen the gap a little bit which will allow it to play better on the string and sleep a little longer. Try that and see how it goes.
It can sleep for about 15 second max and when I loosen it, it goes for about 20. Should I buy some lube or just get a sage or one? PS thanks for replying and helping

nictheperson when you play the yoyo it is natural to get string tension and if i say playing the yoo as in every single throw you do string tension will get worse so at least every 5 attempt/throws you fix the string tension

Waffles And butter it's just something that takes time and practice . I'm currently practicing for my school talent show and when you learn a trick it becomes muscle memory to you. So just keep practicing and don't stop yoyoing it's so much fun to do advanced tricks and combos. Sorry I wrote so much hope I answered your question.

im trim new to yoyo this is my 2nd day and i can do tricks like rock the baby, around the corner and man on the trapeeze (I land it 45 percent of the time) but whenever i try to lift the yoyo to do the fast front moount the yoyo winds up and if i do land the nmount it stops spinning and half the yoyo is wound. I dont know if its my yoyo or ust me making a mistake. please hely thanks :))

It is easier with an unresponsive yoyo, but it can be done with a responsive yoyo.
After i do one flip, the yoyo turns around and messes up the spin. What can i do to fix this?

If your spin is dying it is either because you are not getting the yoyo spinning fast enough, or you are not doing your brain-twisters in line with the groove of the yoyo.

I honestly wish that my yo-yo had a better spin time I have a starter yo-yo but it doesn’t seem to have enough spin time it only has like 30 seconds of spin
I doubt you could find a trick that took longer than 30 seconds to perform. That being said, if you have a starter yoyo you should upgrade the bearing so it plays unresponsive. That will easily put the spin time over 2 minutes.
Sometimes once I do the front mount the yo-yo jerks up and hits my knuckles. Why does this happen and how can I stop it? 🙌🏾
That will happen if you allow any slack in the string. If you can do the motion smoothly enough and quickly enough so there is no slack then that should stop happening.
