  • My last ride on this highly customised Indian Scout Bobber, I must say I am really sad to see these bikes go! It's the most fun I've had on motorbikes in a while, and definitely a bike I will always remember!
This must be the loudest Indian scout out there with its insane akrapovic exhaust, every ride on it has been an absolute joy. I have 3 very special motorbikes coming next... can you guess what they will be?

Can't see the point of a no-mudguards bike much as I love customised bikes however some lush wide deep fenders painted to resemble tyre treads..that would make it awesome and useable!

I have bought quite a few bits for my Scout from Moorespeed and they are a great company to do business with: knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. I love my standard Scout , which I ride all year round. Journeys can take a bit longer, though, since every time you stop people want to admire and ask questions about the bike.

It's great to see the Scout platform used as a basis for customisation.
I bought my standard-model Scout from Moore Speed in 2017 and still have it.
I've changed the 'bars and have a Rogue-style nose fairing I'll add soon. The full mudguards make it a far better proposition in the rain, but I don't really ride in the rain - I have a couple of BMWs for that!
The standard Scout has libger-travel rear suspension and a great seat as standard. You sit 'in' the bike more than on it as you do with those tractor seats.
At 6'2" I can ride the Scout in comfort all day - although it's not the best tourer of course.
The handling & spread of power is awesome. I looked at a 114 Fat Bob which was great - until I rode my Scout home...
Looking forward to seeing what Colin drops off with you next - all power to the partnership you have 👍😎

I would have to Trike it for my own mode of transport and that Darkhorse Black or Gun metal would suit my style, But I know which colour my Beautiful Lady Jules would pick, Olive Green and Cream would be Her choice for definite, same as the Chieftain Vintage 👍🤘😎

As cool as the no fenders look is, if this was mine I personally would install at least a small fender in the front and to the back a fender that is attached to the swing arm and which hugs very closely to the tire and covers a quarter of it about to the top half way. You get 90% of the fenderless look but at least you have some cover if the weather unexpectedly changes or you have to drive through a puddle. Also much less of a safety hazard in case you happen to slip from the seat and not have your nuts grinded by the rear tire that is spinning 60mph. 😬 But it would still be mostly a show room or show off bike ridden only in the pretty days.

You mentioned Indian motorcycles not having the same "stigma" that Harley motorcycles have. As someone who grew up in the states, I've grown accustomed to not liking people who ride Harley motorcycles. I've always wanted a Harley air cooled V-Twin, but I've always felt repulsed by the idea of joining their community...
More often than not, Harley riders will not wave when passing me on my Japanese motorcycle. Every other person waves at me, without fail, but not the Harley people. I've gotten so used to the Harley riders, that I can actually sense them approaching---they have a uniquely special arrogance and disdain, which can be detected in everything they do, and everything they wear.
A few other observations that apply to "some" Harley riders:
1.) Harley owners are not discerning, intellectual riders. (This doesn't apply to the wonderful English people buying a Harley).
2.) They choose a Harley without doing any research, and without any consideration at all; they simply choose a Harley by default.
3.) There's something gravely concerning and disconcerting about a person who chooses something by "default."
4.) A Harley buyer doesn't lay in bed reading bike reviews and engine specifications, on their laptop.
5.) It appears that the Indian buyers are people who like Harley motorcycles, but are more articulate and discerning.
6.) Indian has saved American motorcycles, by bringing the American cruiser to the world, without the "stigma."
7.) Indian motorcycles might be more American than Harley motorcycles now, because Indian's liquid cooled V-Twin engines sound amazing!
Love the channel, please do more LOUD Indian reviews!
