It started with MrDarcy suddenly coming across in a more relaxed and professional style and now the same is true of the old man, this has to be the most improved motorcycle channel on UA-cam, well done to both of you, extremely watchable 👍
My favourite "biketubers" now, been great to watch the channel grow. Stunning footage and great people. I think it helps that most other people that cover the more characterful bikes are solo operations so they can't do the comparison reviews and stuff that this channel does, it's a good niche to fill
There's something genuinely calming about watching the old man blasting down country lanes, Darcy burbling through villages, and the father and son duo bumbling happily about.
Thank you so much for the lovely shout out. It was so nice to meet you both and I hope you come back to us for a meal sometime! BTW....The chap "nicking" the sunday dinners was the owner of the pub 🤣
Excellent video format. We like motorcycles, among other things, for the places they allow us to visit. Thanks for keeping the subs active. Greetings from Argentina
I've never heard of this Brand. Never too old to learn I guess. Both models are eyeturners. I was like the little boy and wanted to get up closer and put my hands on them. Thanks for being the first to show me. You and pops are favorites of mine. At 71 I'm still learning and enjoying anything moto related. 👍👍

50+ years ago, you could almost guarantee you would see the maverick in steve mcqueens collection. British design & build at its best. I was lucky enough to have a go on the spitfire👍

Any time I hop on my Triumphs or Ducati, I yearn to explore just like this. Living wayyyy out in the desert in Arizona, USA, I love living vicariously through your videos and seeing the beautiful, history-rich sites in your area. I’ll stay tuned as always 🙏
I love those old churches for the same reasons.) That old pub was really neat. For other than big highway miles those CCMs make sense. Throttle cables, light, and good sound. Great video!
Another great video both. At the moment you both seem to be on fire and knocking out professionally produced and exited content. Thank you and keep up the good work. 😀
I think this is the best video that you boys have made to date...the bikes the beautiful English village the fabulous pub..I'm sure you are having way to much fun...utterly charming..and yes I am a member...oh and darcy reminds me of a young Bruce Willis die hard...I want more....!!
Nice video presentation. Really enjoyable to watch till the end. The bikes especially the maverick look and sound the part. It's good to see British brands coming back and building in England.
Was out on a ride last week in Yorkshire. Called in at The Motorist (a petrolheads heaven) and CCM were doing a demo day. Straight away asked me if I wanted to take one for a ride. Checked that no excess if I dropped it - took it out for a 20min blast. Amazing - compact, very throaty and brilliant handling. Lots of torque due too light weight. If I was cash rich I’d have one in the garage for back lane blasts but they’re not cheap so I’d have to win a bob or two!!
Really enjoyed the format of this video. Great bikes - I've looked at them at the London bike show and they really are special. Would love to ride one, they sound fantastic. Enjoyed your walk around the village - I do a lot of photography and love old English towns and villages, especially the churches. Keep up the good work and ride safe!
Those are absolutely stunning! 👌Even though I am a custom and cruiser guy, the CCM Bobber would definetly find its way into my garage if I had extra money to spend.
Hello from Finland! Is it possible that you would put on the subtitles on your great videos? Not that i don’t understand what you say, but sometimes i got so much backround noise with the kids that it would be great 😂 Keep on with the videos! Cheers!
In regards to Phone Mount: I feel the same exact way you feel about Quadlock but with PEAK DESIGN. In my opinion the best and sleekest and internal dampener. But like most top brands it's like Chevy corvette vs. Ford Mustang. Both are premium great automobiles.
Oh, beautiful location. Love those historic places, great outdoors, and those motorbikes! Never seen anything like them. I want to see one in person. I'm in the United States. Don't know if they are even over here. Many times I wish I lived in the UK 🇬🇧 with you great people!
@MrDarcy-OlMan Thank you. I was thinking... What do you reckon when putting head-to-head the Triumph Bonneville T120 and the Bonneville Speedmaster? They seem to be at the top of the Bonneville lineup when it comes to distance, comfort, classic styling, and all around bike.
I really enjoy videos that show the incredible history and provide some info on the places you can ride to Old historic buildings here in the USA might be three hundred years old
Really enjoyed your ride on the CCM motorcycles. Glorious sound in the village you visited was amazing as well. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s excellent. Many thanks, paul
I remember CCM's going around the scramble track near where I used to live & these bikes pretty much replicate the sound perfectly. Out of the two I'd probably go for the Maverick as to me it looks a more nicer bike to my eyes although I think analogue clocks rather than digital would suit it much better. Nice to see the ole man in hooligan mode earlier spinning the rear wheel & getting covered in grass & that pub is a proper old school English pub which is nice to see as there's not many around nowadays.
The pub that was shut but still served you reminded me of an old joke. Pubs in Ireland used to shut for an hour in the afternoon, the so called “Holy Hour”. The landlord says to the English tourist “No, no, I can’t be serving you now at all, it’s against the law, we’re shut for the Holy Hour… will ye have a drink while you’re waiting?”
I live near Elsworth and have fond memories of the track spent a lot of time there and could hear the bikes from my house, it's been closed for about 15-20 years now sadly.
CCM produce beautiful looking British built motorcycles and it's great to see you reviewing two of them , personally I prefer the Spitfire and I'd love to test ride one however it's almost impossible to find one in a dealer ( I don't think CCM have any dealers) so buying one is a leap of faith. Must admit you and the Ol Man both made the bobber look tiny .
I currently have 3 CCMs a 2002 R30 604, and 2 x 2002 604 Dual Sports all fitted with the 600cc Rotax 604 engine. The R30 and one of the Dual Sports have been overboard to nearly 700cc and are road bikes fitted with 17" wheels, you could call them Supermoto's and the highly tuned engines on these 2 bikes both make about 70 RW HP, the other Dual Sport is standard at 597cc and is more mildly tuned at about 50 RWHP, I use it for off road pottering on green lanes. I have to say it's hard to beat a CCM for sheer fun, I've had blasts with sport bikes round the lanes and beat them easily with my solid 70bhp @ rear wheel, great brakes and handling and only 143Kg wet bike weight, Great to see some modern CCM's on your show at last although personally I prefer the older versions, great review, Thanks boys!
Our local mechanic Steve used to race a CCM motocross bike in 80s, all the rest screaming Maicos, Honda, Yams and Kawasaki, then Steve on the thunderous 4 stroke, rooster tailing the mud🙂 . Racing circuit smells - Castrol R and two stroke oil . Nice vid boys 👍👍👏👏👏

I would say that Maverick in the spec you had, was much closer to £15k as I found out after a test run, still worth that but enough to make you think 🤔 for a 600 enduro single with quite short servicing intervals. I’d go for the basic spec and maybe add stuff later. Great B road and green lane runner. So light and bags of character.
We were trying to find the prices on their website and it took us to what is, we suspect, is an old page, but since making the video we have found the new current page with the new pricing and so yes you are right 👍🏼👍🏼

CCM is an old brand that appears to be revived in recent years.
I love your off bike tours of the amazing buildings, houses and churches... I'm sure I'm not the only one...
Lovely, just lovely 👍
Thanks for presenting these two bikes, lads 🙏
I must say. This Channel and Freddie Dobbs, is my absolute favorites. Its more then just bikes, but enjoying the small things in life.
These bikes are just a work of art.I saw one at a dealership and was blown away by the build quality.
