I think they look great & are a better fit for short arses like myself, however as a returnee biker i find the weight of it a bit of a confidence killer,so a moto guzzi v7 stone special edition will be my returning ride. It's even lower than the honda, the weight is carried low,it rides lovely,& looks stunning.
I'm very careful when maneuvering the 1100 and I'm 5'10. I agree the Guzzi V7 is a great choice for a returning rider, I hired one with my wife in Tenerife last Easter. A great bike!
Nice video guys - An old duffer as described by ChatGPT: An old duffer is a colloquial and somewhat playful or mildly derogatory term used to describe an elderly person, usually a man, who is perceived as somewhat foolish, out of touch, or eccentric. The phrase is often used affectionately or humorously, but it can also carry a connotation of harmless incompetence or being slow-witted. The term "duffer" itself traditionally referred to someone who is not very skilled at something, especially in the context of sports like golf, and "old duffer" extends that idea to older age and general behavior.
Interesting, Duffer in Australia is a stock thief, generally cattle, but applies to stock in general. In the same vein as "rustler" for septics. Silly duffer, stupid thief. Not used seriously, silly duffer tending to affection rather than irritation or judgement in colloquial terms.
quick tip as you seem to like mint. Dont move around the bike with an open zipper dangling against the tank. But thanks for a nice video and awesome looking bike. Cya out there.
SV17OBU i sold it to kjm superbikes with 4013 miles on the clock i registered the datatag and had fitted a new gold chain and sprockets. Was originally supplied in Aberdeen and arrived with all relevant scratches and marks .
Oh dear, I have the CB1100RS same year same colour same condition etc. But... don't like the ride, its too Honda boring... looks great and that's it, no soul, I call it my car bike, I might as well be in my car. I have two other bikes GSX 8S love love love it... HD Sport Glide, even more loves than the 8S. So only had the CB100RS a few months, but it has to go... also its bloody hot, more heat off the motor than the HD. (of course the 8S is liquid cooled)
I am lucky enough to own an RS in black and silver on a 17 plate . I intend to leave it completely standard as i think it is to nice to mess with. I own other bikes but the CB always seems to create more interest amongst bike owners. My one is definitely a keeper.

Hi. Thanks for your comment! Agreed, the cb isn't the most exciting bike on the road, but for country bimbles, day trips on a sunny day with mother mole as pillion, it's so smooth. Perfect! Yes, it's so easy to ride, almost carlike...like a Mercedes Sl!! Horses for courses😉

Beautiful bike. It was on my shortlist of bikes to buy, but it lost in the weight category sadly. But I still love it
All these bikes are great. Keep going. Got my like. Cheers.
Thanks for your support. Much appreciated!! We love our bikes. Did you subscribe?

Black and Chrome maybe for the sticker..? I don't know you could print a few designs and see how they fit I guess 😄

Brilliant! I think we used the term pretty correctly then! 😁

Don’t you ever sell this bike.

Cheers. Usually, I'm ocd around the bikes, so must be slipping. Enjoy the rest of the summer!
I have a W800 currently. I'd really like one of these.
A W800 is a bike I'd like to add to our garage. Little bit less mainstream than the Bonnies. Take care!
The bike is brilliant! And first owner seems to have equipped it like one should. Enjoy!!

Wow! Small world. Thanks for the history. What did you replace her with?
I have a 2020 CB1100RS in black and love it to bits.
Yes. I spend as much time staring at mine as riding it! One of the best looking bikes ever in my opinion!
@@Olipops77 Me too, and I agree they're one of the best looking bikes ever.

Reckon your carbs need balancing, didn't pick up smoothly when you revved it. Nice bike though.
Hi. Yeah could be. Something else to look at. Cheers
Almost traded my ctx1300 for the cb1100. Guy backed out last minute because he was worried about an out of state title transfer.
That's a shame... There's always another one somewhere along the line. They are pretty special bikes!

Agreed. The RS is a fantastic machine which is really striking in black and silver too! Enjoy
