@@jays-move8803 Okay murdered is a little excessive. But fired absolutely. And I hope that she forever lives with guilt of knowing she could have saved this woman's life. As for the murderer, I would be happy to hear he got murdered.

@@jays-move8803 She did send police, but also clearly understated the gravity of the situation and wasted time asking stupid questions when the victim obviously was in the process of being attacked and couldn't answer and then it seems like she never properly communicated how serious and urgent the situation was to police. So it was definitely negligence on her part. I do wonder if she should be in jailed or fined. I don't think I agree she deserves murder though...
I also think it was negligence on the part of police for taking FIFTY whole minutes to arrive on the scene and then not even going inside. Everybody involved failed her so much. Such a horrifying story :/

@Salvatore Salerno One, everyone in the video is black. Two, it's dispatch's job to dispatch police on an emergency phone call. Not after hearing her being murdered and THEN fifteen minutes of silence. That's all on the phone call. Besides homicidal negligence, that's bad procedure. How about when he says "where are the police" the dispatcher piped up and said YEAH WE'RE HERE WE'RE ON THE WAY.
JFC people like you expect more out of criminals and fast food workers than police.

Joseph Honey, you need Jesus and I’m going to pray for you. Just know this black women did not deserve to die to any race of color and those operators played a huge part in a death that could’ve been avoided hundreds of times. It doesn’t matter what race they were, they simply didn’t do their job ESPECIALLY the police officer that just knocked and went back to his car. Everything isn’t race-tied you know but a lot of people hold prejudices against African Americans to this day, the KKK is still running strong so if people do make it about race and what color they were I don’t blame them because in many cases White (Officers/Operators) do discriminate against Black people and to other races that aren’t theirs!

When my violent ex was stalking and threatening me I got a restraining order, a kickass alarm system, several cans of pepper spray kept all thru my house, a 9mm handgun, and a rescue German Shepherd. I then let all of my neighbors know what was going on and asked them to call the cops if they saw him near my home or car. He came into my yard one day and my dog went after him and bit him. My neighbor got it all on video and called the cops, and he was arrested. He has not been back. : )

@@darrylcrane253 The truth is that most times there isn't change at all. How many funeral has anyone here been to? Think. 99.9999% if not 100% of the time- several make a speech of how great that person was...how they lit up a room...They talk about us loving one another more and more to keep close to the friends and family we love....Then a week or two later every one is back at their normal routine ..they quickly go back to what they are used to. Look at what is going on. There are alll kinds of people who have been racially profiled and killed. Yet because A person wears a blue uniform they are not subject to the punishment anyone else would receive. I dc what the title or how many degreees you have or what dept you work for. Then the us begins to kneel for change PEACEFULLY and THAT is an issue. You then have more and more people die...and the U.S wants to shoot, set off smoke bombs..tear gas...and beat others with Batons for reacting to actions that are intolerable?!!?!!! Change is a state of mind. Being mindful of what we want in life. Should we seek change we must be the change period.

I agree with all sentiments right up to the “god bless”. Ask yourself…if there really were an “all loving” and “all knowing” god, why let something like this happen. It would seem that, for an “all powerful being” that would’ve been easy. And don’t give me the “free will” crap. In the fable that is Christianity, “Satan” knows god exists and chooses not to worship “him”. So you can know about a god and still choose not to worship it. If there were empirical, absolute, scientific evidence that the Christian god existed, I would believe it exists but I certainly wouldn’t worship it. That god would have a lot to answer for. Slavery, child raping priests, hurricanes, tornados, starvation, lack of clean drinking water, etc.

Suh Dude I have heard that sometimes they don't say anything because they don't want the attacker to know that the victim has called 911 ( for fear that it will anger them more or that they will be lying in wait when police show up ). In my opinion, I think that maybe it would scare them and run them off but what do I know. My sister used to be a 911 dispatcher and has told me that in different states they are taught to do it different ways. For instance, I don't recall which was which but I know that OH and NC have different rules regarding situations like that.

Gosh, listening to her screaming for her life in fear is so heartbreaking. I can only imagine the pain that her family is going through. I just want to give her mom the biggest hug and console her.
Don't they have some kind of 911 protocol to follow if the caller is unable to speak? Did the 911 operator just decided to not do her job? I hope the operator serves time for this. Her life could've been saved if they immediately sent out the police. This is so infuriating.
Also can we just appreciate that her family is doing something good for the community, despite dealing with their own grievance? Now, that's a strength! They're truly a good people.
