Protein-Coding Portion of Telomeres is Discovered| New research

Researchers from the UNC School of Medicine, Jack Griffith, PhD, and Taghreed Al-Turki, PhD, discovered that the telomeres at the ends of chromosomes contain enough genetic material to make two tiny proteins with possible biological effects.
