I had to cancel and make a claim on insurance once. We had booked a very pricy trip to Hawaii for our 40th anniversary. I gulped and paid the $800 for insurance. Glad I did. Three weeks prior to flying out my husband was diagnosed with metastatic throat cancer. They did need forms from doctors filled out, but after that I got the max covered back and of course all the excursions funds were returned. I would never travel without insurance.

    Gary,
We did circumnavigation of Japan in April with Azamara and it was absolutely spectacular. Having done over 80 cruises it was one of the best ever.

Someone from Canada indicated they could not find travel agents here that “do it all”. They will find great help at a CAA (Cdn equivalent of AAA in US and in Alberta it is called AMA). They have the best rates for travel insurance as well.

A year ago I cruised Windstar from Bali to Cairns. Great itinerary! Visited several Indonesian islands plus Timor Leste and several Australian ports. Cairns is great for Great Barrier Reef.

My fiancée and I have been traveling back and forth four times a year between the US and Brisbane. After our wedding in December, we will be visiting about once or twice a year to visit her family there.
With the least expensive first class flights running about $8,000 each, we've been looking at repositioning cruises. There are some on Princess I've seen and, if I remember correctly, one was from LA to Sydney for only $3,300 pp. Has anyone had any experience on such a cruise?

Question : Big fan in Virginia, U.S.A. My wife and I are seasoned cruisers but have yet to do a Norwegian Fiord cruise. What can we expect in the way of shore excursion in Norways from Hurtigruten? P. S. Excited to embark on Oceania cruise in Mid November from Barcelona to Cape Town!

I’m going on Virgin Cruise to do a 12 day from Barcelona to Athens in August 2026. I will be 66 years old and using a Walker or walking stick. Will it be easy to move around? I’m concerned about safety for those cities. Lately, there’s been bad news with Chinese tourists which is valid. I’m a Banana….yellow on the outside but white on the inside 😂

NO! Lots of uneven pavement and cobblestones!

Agree. We did this cruise back May 2024 and it was beautiful. But I feel you will find it very hard to get around ports and excursion sites. All of the streets are old European cobblestones. Lots and lots of walking.

Hi, have you been on pride of America around Hawaiian 🌺 islands or do you know whether it’s a good cruise? I’ve heard mixed reviews. (Would be travelling with kids (young teenagers) ? Thanks for all your great videos and advice!

I have not yet but would really like to do. The ship is going in for a refurb and that should make it much better I am sure
