Those in the USA can now purchase the print copy through Amazon. If you're in South Africa, the book is available through Takealot. And for my readers who prefer e-books, the Kindle edition is also available on Amazon. 1. SOUTH AFRICA www.takealot.c... 2. USA www.amazon.com... I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support and patience throughout this journey. Your encouragement has meant the world to me, and I am so excited to finally share this work with you. Best regards, Asad El Malik
You are the best Doc...🇿🇦🙌 Wishing you and Your lovely family nothing but the best as manuvour this life thing in the Mother Land, mainly South Africa.
I'm so excited. I received your book, today. Black Puertorican, 65 & retired. I've been to Johannesburg, South Africa before. I felt a sense of Freedom & Peace there, that i have never felt in America as a Black man. My partner, and I will return to visit SA in 2025 with intentions of relocating. Thanks again for all you do. P.S. Excellent interview 😊
That's exactly what I was about to say too, @osbornemasobho1805. I'm also so accustomed to our brother's signature tune I suppose the platform was more formal but great to see and hear the aspects shared in this day's conversation on the station. What he says is so true, I remember as a kid in the 70's we watched Sidney Poitier movies and followed all other cultural icons of the black community, it lifted us up when the laws of our country denied us our full humanity and brutalized. At the worst of times, when so many lost everything, it was our brothers who helped to remind us that the picture apartheid presented to us about ourselves could not be true. As Dr Assad says, connecting now in person seems merely a formality because the connection and common experience has always been there. We thank The Almighty in all the many different ways in which we know Him, for turning history around and finally be able to live the dream. So much more will still flourish to wipe away all the tears and hurt of yesteryears, including of course the hardships many still experience in both contexts.
I love a healthy comradery between South Africans and African Americans, there's so much we can learn/benefit each other with, we just gotta find each other
I’m kinda mad that presenter didn’t give you a warm enough introduction. We’ll chalk it down to inexperience, I guess. Then again, I’m biast cause I lOVE the work you and wife are doing. And hope you continue to do so. We love that you’ve found a home in the south away from the south.
My goodness there's a joke that goes people who appear on TV twice in one week and make radio interviews think they made it in life. Lol you have made it in life man. Honestly I'm chuffed. Researcher and AuthorAsad el Malik, hamba bhuti.❤

You're genuinely a good human being for even speaking against misogyny when you are a man; it shows you have empathy and a selfless sense of justice. A lot of pro-Black men, actually have a tendency to harbor misogyny towards Black women, which I find hypocritical. People like that make me feel Like: 'you want to be free from anti-Black hate, while you harbor anti-Black-woman hate yourself? They see oppression only so far as it affects THEM, and not women.
