Actually Reiss already told Historia that Eren CANNOT access the powers of The Founder by himself. He needs to be in physical contact with someone of Royal blood. That's why when Reiss and Historia touched him he activated the founder's powers and saw the past. It's also HOW he was able to instinctively control the Titans to kill the Smiling one and send them after Reiner and Bertoldt in the season 2 finale. Remember he punched the Smiling Titan's hand?? The Smiling Titan is Dina Fritz. Royal blood. So you can see what that means right?? If Zeke is Dina and Grisha's son, that means not ONLY is he Eren's brother, BUT, he also has Royal Blood in him.

It is not something you usually do, but I recommend a video made by the composer of the show. It is titled "project emu attack on titan suite". It is some of the most memorable ost from the show, up until season 3. This video is really successful, with tens of millions views, I'm sure you'll like it if you like attack on titan music.

That's why Levi had the choice and he chose Erwin to die because his life was over.
nah he barely do anything in ss4 =)))) Levi chose Armin because he wanted Erwin to rest and not have to continue being a devil anymore.
So here's how it is as far as I piece it together. Grisha's flashbacks are happening BEFORE he gets to "The Island" where we started this story. So technically at this point in time there are TWO fritz families. The Fritz Family where Grisha was raised (which ARE the direct descendants of Ymir Fritz: The Founder Titan) And the Fritz family on the Island where Eren was born. The fritz family on the Island is fake Rodd Reiss' family IS the Fritz family but they changed their name when they got to the island and the Founding Titan (at the time) erased everyone's memory into believing they were the last of Humanity, while being constantly raided by Titans that were SENT by Marley. Marley would turn people into titans and let them roam forever on The Island where the Eldians lived. also as Grisha learned EVERY (current) Eldian is a descendant of Ymir, hence why they call themselves Desciples of Ymir (Not to be confused with Historia's girlfriend Ymir). lol. They are two very different people. In fact if you'll recall, Historia's gf Ymir?? That's not even her actual name.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Dina Fritz actually IS a blood relation to the current Reiss Family which makes her actually a Royal. Just like Mikasa's Father is a blood relation to The Ackermann Family. They don't actually say how close or removed though. He could be a cousin of Kenny's in some way

If you think this season was hard, just prepare yourself because 4th is even worse (aka better 😅). Tone will change, context will change too, some people didn't like it but I honestly think it's the best, speaking about depth and how much it gets you thinking. Epic scenes won't be missed though, so don't worry. Emotionally speaking, I'm a wreck every time I rewatch it or even watch people reacting to it. So let's cry together soon 😁

Yeah, that wrecked me when Armin died. And even Erwin knew that Armin was the better call. Inexperienced, yeah, but he has shown time and time again how smart he is. He thinks quick and can reign in his emotions when its for the greater good.
What are you telling about it ? You are saying erwin knew best choices is armin . But erwin push on the needle because he tired . He did not want to fought more just that is reason . If erwin was alive in season 4 , eldias peoples beat of all world ,i mean you could not compare with they erwin level is insane . But season 3 part 2 is really good!! So many great highlights. But season 4 is amazing. 4 or this part of season 3 are by far my favorites.
I think with Jean, ever since season 1 they have been hinting he'd make a good commander. He has confidence, ability, is pretty smart and knows combat well. That's why Armin wanted Jean to take over for a bit. Put the pressure off of Armin too for awhile

Where’s season 4 ?
Even to this day, Floch gets so much hate and he was the one spitting facts in this episode. Some folks let their emotions get in the way far too much. I like Armin, but he wasn't the best choice to be saved in comparison to Erwin.
Maybe because he's at a funeral and has no tact whatsoever in how and when he says what he says
Armin > Erwin
Erwin did not prioritize humanity and only cared about the basement. His story is over.
Armin is young and a new mind with hope for the future.

@@rinhyugaa6565 Priorities aside, from a military perspective, you don't sacrifice a commander like Erwin who had years of experience over a soldier like Armin who has a matter of months of experience.
@@dwnkaomwn3953 you're absolutely right. And Erwins military experience was his main argument. In any situation the commanding officer would be the obvious choice. But Erwin left it to Levi's personal decision.
I don't think Erwin would remain a useful commander
And I have my own gripes about his leadership up to this point in the first place.

Erwin never put aside humanity's well being. His last action is literally to sacrifice himself for humanity (scene that you cut out here btw, and you let armin's "death" scene). It shows that you clearly appreciate more one of them, and it's okay, but it shouldn't make you say nonsense about the story and characters.

But let's be really honest Trixy; you ONLY hate Floche because he voted to save Erwin INSTEAD of Armin. It's JUST as Levi said. YOU made your decision based on emotions. YOU love Armin, so he was your choice. The Truth is that Erwin WOUILD have been a better choice going forward. Armin might very well become as gifted a leader as Erwin some day; but they NEEDED Erwin NOW. They don't have YEARS to wait for Armin to BECOME a good leader. Levi saw this; Hange saw this and Floche saw this. EVERYONE else couldn't see past their emotions and see the truth right in front of them.

Okay so; the Colossal Titan transformation is never fully explained. We're told that it's so powerful that it's close to a hydrogen bomb exploding, right?? Everyone that's too close is incinerated instantly right?? So how then did Bert transform RIGHT IN FRONT of the walls ans surprise everyone, with absolutely no destruction UNTIL he kicked in the gate?? AND HOW did he appear RIGHT BEHIND Eren without any explosion whatsoever?? There was the lightning sure, but that close to th Scouts on the wall should have killed them ALL instantly AND the surrounding town.

I also think it has to do with momentum. Like Berthold purposefully flung himself up in the air to get the maximum impact of his landing blast is what I got. Not just standing still.
Bertholt has been said to have mastered the Colossal and was naturally talented at this. He mastered the power in his first try. He can create half a body, a huge explosion, a normal transformation and more.
How can you say such horrible things on Erwin ?! 😱
