Do you mix the linseed oil and the mineral spirits together in the same container?

I do!
By adding more of one or the other I get to choose whether I want more fluidity (mineral spirits), or more viscosity (linseed oil). You can also adjust the drying time and gloss that way, with linseed oil increasing both and mineral spirits decreasing both.
