      Really enjoyed the mix of mediums in this one. After watching (and loving) so many of your amazing videos, I'm finally trying my hand at more than hand painted birthday cards for my large clan. The fall leaves will be a great place to "branch out". Thanks for all you share with us Jenna, it is very much appreciated and valued.

      Love the mix medium in this gorgeous piece, the pen made sure a statement in defining the trees.

      bravo...i like that tip of pulling the line, instead of pushing a waving line.

    Using an oversized piece of paper and watching you draw, and listening to your chatter were most instructive. The completed picture of the two trees was perfect for me to visualize my final painting. Your pen work is swift and fluid. Thanks for allowing us to watch.

    I love that you added the pen! Gives me inktober vibes
    I love sketching in a journal, when I popped over to Cathy’s UA-cam channel I found a video with her talking about the merlot stain in her journal 📓 I love that she used the stain to inspire the colours she chose! 💜💖accidental art

    Your approach is refreshingly comfortable and competent. Thanks Jenna! I too like to finish with ink, partly because it doesn't need to be waterproof.

    BEAUTIFUL!!!, and your trees are GORGEOUS!!. I love your free spirit attitude, you are sweet inside and out. I learn so much from you in just a few strokes of your pencil, brush, or pen. Thank you 🙏🏼 🥰

    I appreciate your tutorial so much. It is very good of you to give so much of yourself so freely to others. I certainly believe that as an artist we should be compensated for our time, but I really appreciate those artists that put out these little free things on UA-cam. It speaks highly of your character. You're encouragement is wonderful, and I love to hear you sing about trees.

    This is so pretty and so inspiring! I live where Autumn really doesn't exist (north Florida), well very subtly, and this reminds me of my child years in Illinois! 🧡🍁

    Very nice brushwork, lovely composition and colors. I've been struggling with one particular problem in autumn landscapes... maybe you have a solution. I want to paint some brilliant red yellow/orange foliage against an intense blue or turquoise background, based on a photo I took (coincidentally), in Washington state. I've tried doing a blue wash then lifting out the blue and filing in with orange. I've also tried masking fluid. Both of these techniques work "ok" but the painting seems to lose the freshness and spontaneity that makes watercolor so beautiful. Any suggestions?

    Hi, Jenna. Is Heritage a very soft bristle unlike Princeton Snap brushes which are stiffer???

    • @lauren3366
      @lauren3366 Рік тому

      I’ve used just a couple Heritage and a couple Snap, but I would say that Heritage is softer than Snap, but not as soft as some of the other Princeton lines.
